Yelena gently raised her head on the pretext of looking at the cufflinks.

Her husband was smiling.

Yelena couldn’t take her eyes off Kaywhin’s smile for a while.

It had been several days since the two started lying in the same bed every night as if it were natural.

“Are you a couple? Then sleep together. This is an extra step for married couples and an important strategy. You can sleep while holding hands, so use the same bed every day. Got it?”

The disciple, Yelena, became her part-time teacher, Rosaline’s puppet, and faithfully followed her instructions.

“Come here for a second. No, I will go to you.”

Yelena, who moved her body to narrow the distance from Kaywhin, reached out to his forehead.

She covered his forehead. Perhaps it was from the evening walk but her hand was slightly cold.

“Hmm… There’s no fever today either.”

“…Why do you check every day?”

“Just in case.”

After confirming that his body temperature was normal, Yelena removed her hand.

“Your fever was boiling hot that day.”

“I’m asking you now, but wasn’t it hard?”

“Sometimes…”

“It’s just that, even though you were so sick, you moved and talked because of me.”

“I also suffered from a high fever when I was a kid, and I felt like my head was going to burst and had a hard time just lying there.”

Yelena heaved a sigh.

She belatedly reflected a little on what happened that day.

She couldn’t believe she made a fevered patient come out to the balcony and do strenuous work.

She didn’t know if that was going to happen again.

“I don’t know if you saw it that day. My skills in soaking the towel and squeezing it were extraordinary. You didn’t see it, did you? That won’t work. I’ll make sure to show you next time.”

Yelena quietly said that and furtively glanced over at her husband’s expression.

Soon after, Kaywhin replied, “I’ll look forward to it.”

Only then did Yelena’s expression brighten up.

That meant she received permission.

Now she could enter his place whenever he was sick.

‘Wait, do I have to start practicing squeezing towels now…?’

Surely her dexterity, which was said to be devilishly terrible, wouldn’t affect her towel-soaking skills.

‘I think I did a good job that day.’

Yelena opened her mouth as she had that thought.

“You can never take back your words.”

“Okay.”

Yelena was relieved when she heard the confirmation.

Feeling in a better mood, she smiled lightly and whispered, “Then, good night.”

A response returned shortly.

“Sweet dreams, Yelena.”
