Little One Tears the Villain's Script - Chapter 56
The Best System in the World (1)
Jiang Xiaoman was looking forward to the heavy snowfall to come, but the end of the year came before it could.
Jiang was about to go to the city to buy things for the new year and ask her to come with him. However, the weather was too cold, and the town was far away from the village. Jiang Xiaoman often gets carsick, so she was not very happy.
She hugged her blanket tightly, only her pair of round eyes showing. It looked at Jiang Xing defensively, as if afraid that he would dig her out from under the blanket. It was freezing, and she did not want to go out.
She had a habit of covering her head when sleeping. Her hair was standing up, affected by the static electricity, and looked very cute.
Jiang Xing sighed. “All right, fine, fine. I will go by myself then, don’t regret it later.”
Jiang Xing went out alone.
Jiang Xiumei also urged him to buy a new set of clothes for Jiang Xiaoman for the New Year. They had to feel festive, preferably bright red.
This stumped Jiang Xing.
The big man went out to buy clothes for his niece. Even after shopping in the mall for a long time, he still hesitated on what he should buy.
Because he had no sense of fashion, he always listened to Jiang Xiaoman when they went out together. Now that she was not coming with him, he could only follow Jiang Xiumei’s tastes.
Festive and bright red.
Jiang Xing bought a set of clothes that looked like the one worn by a New Year picture’s doll and went back.
Jiang Xiaoman quickly opened the bag and immediately cried.
This style of clothes with small floral patterns, she had only seen it at the bottom of Grandma’s trunk! Children these days have down jackets and cotton clothes to wear, why would Uncle buy these?
Jiang Xiumei happily dressed Jiang Xiaoman and praised her, saying that the dress looked cute, festive, energetic, and beautiful.
Grandma had dexterous hands and tied two small buns on her head with red cloth and a rope, making a matching pair with the clothes. At first glance, it looked like she came out straight from a New Year painting.
It was adorable.
Jiang Xiumei hugged her and kissed her firmly, not deterred by the tears covering her face.
“It looks good. Xiaoman is very pretty; you look good no matter what you wear.” Jiang Xiumei brought her the mirror.
Jiang Xiaoman was full of tears, and her eyes were hazy. She saw her head with that two small buns on top of it in the mirror, and she looked gorgeous. Grandma also tied two bells on the rope on her head, that jingled whenever she shook it. They were very cute and beautiful, and she liked them very much.
The more she looked at it, the more she liked it, and she finally stopped crying.
She sniffed and said, “Okay.”
Jiang Xing was relieved.
They were both women; how would he have known that their tastes were so different!
Although the dress style wasn’t modern, Jiang Xiaoman looked good on it. She looked as if she were carved from jade and adorned with powder and looked very cute with her round face. She was just stinky, crying that she didn’t look right.
Jiang Xing hugged her and adjusted her pose, saying that he would take some photos as a souvenir.
He recently bought a camera; it was an old model that still used film.
Jiang Xiaoman was quickly attracted by the camera and begged Jiang Xing to teach her how to use it. The two uncles and niece soon made up and went out to play together.
Jiang Xing carried Jiang Xiaoman on his back, shouting like a child and running wherever Xiaoman pointed to.
On the second day of the New Year, Jiang Xiaoman already wore the clothes Jiang Xing bought for her and even asked Jiang Xiumei to add two more bells. Then she went out to give her New Year’s greetings with a jingling sound.
She looked pretty, not like the other children who looked like monkeys fished out from a mud pit. She had soft white skin that didn’t turn dark no matter how much the sun burnt her. It looked very pleasant, and everyone who saw her wanted to hug her and squeeze her cheeks.
