Jiu Fei just calmed down.

She had heard about her current host from people before.

Many that died from that side were bound to systems and had to complete their missions. As long as they completed it exceptionally, the system would be upgraded and they wouldn’t be recycled. Likewise, the system would complete the host’s wish.

After Jiu Fei was bound to Bai Cu, she found out her wish.

It wasn’t really a wish per se because she noticed that Bai Cu had no desires at all. She didn’t need anyone to help her complete her wish.

Not everyone got this opportunity. Only special people that died and entered that place were bound to systems.

Bai Cu had been here for a few years and no system dared to be bound to her.

Because of her strong capabilities, she ended up scaring a system half to death when they became interested in her. After they returned, the entire system almost went under shock,

Ever since, no one dared to go near her.

If it weren’t that she had no choice, Jiu Fei would never dare to do something like this.

When she spoke of the second half sentence, Jiu Fei said this in a regretful tone. However, since she had seen this often, her tone wasn’t as obvious.

When Bai Cu stood in front of the mirror, the scene inside suddenly changed.

The thing inside the mirror was like a bug. All of them crawled into Bai Cu’s head.

In the mirror, the lights were splendid and bright on the banquet. Everyone wore glamorous and beautiful clothes. He Cu finally got rid of the guards by the door and hastily ran inside.

Her clothes weren’t beautiful now, having some unknown stains. It was dirty and foul smelling.

A few of the young misses present took some steps back, pinching their noses as if scared of contracting some sort of bacteria.

He Cu’s gaze landed on the man in the center. He wore a black swallow-tailed coat and the girl besides him wore a champagne-colored evening gown. The two turned around to look at her at the same time. The girl revealed a shocked expression.

Ye Yu looked at her indifferently. Their friendship all these years was gone in the blink of an eye right now.

He Cu realized that she couldn’t understand the man anymore. He was a stranger and…very ruthless.

She clenched her teeth and asked the question she had been denying the entire time. “Ye Yu…did you do that?”
