The Fake Saint of a Reverse Harem Game - Chapter 5
‘<Experience!> the field guidebook was a book that detailed descriptions of characters and lots of tips on how to win them over. It would be extremely handy if Extreme Work had a guidebook.’
It was an item that was necessary for me who didn’t have a clue about this new game. Accepting the quest with a small nod, I pretended to have just come to my senses.
Pretending not to have heard their conversation, I tried to stretch my arms but it only throbbed madly.
“Young Lady, you are finally awake.”
Jian carefully supported me as I couldn’t overcome the pain and fell forward. She smiled and greeted me with a smile as my eyes widened at the slowly disappearing pain from where she touched me.
“Hello, Young Lady. My name is Jian. I’m the newly appointed saint from the Great Temple,” she began, “The Young Lady’s condition was critical, so they had me put in charge since I am closest to you.”
I stared at her shyly as she explained, then opened my mouth with a fumble.
Whatever Edith Abina’s relationship was with the protagonist, Jian, she was the one who saved me from falling to my death. My mouth was trying to thank her, but closed as if stuck.
▷ A. “I was going to die for someone! Disgusting woman.” Slap Jian in the face.
▷ B. “When did I ask you to save me?! Don’t pretend to be nice, it’s bad luck.” Spit in Jian’s face.
▷ C. “Give me Curtis!” Grab Jian by the hair.
▷ D. “…” Stare coldly at Jian and slap the back of her hand.
You’re killing me, Edith.
I chose the option which was easiest from the wonderful choices – it was also a good one for Curtis.
With a stunned face, Jian stroked the back of her hand from the painful slap I gave her.
“Edith, you are being rude even to the person who helped you.”
‘Damnit! I have to find a way to get rid of the restrictions somehow, but I can’t.’
Edith Abina’s options were extremely limited to villains that it was impossible to play properly, let alone target Curtis, who liked nice and gentle women.
“Curtis, please don’t say it like that to the Young Lady,” Jian said, “I guess she was uncomfortable because I pretended to be friendly with you.”
Curtis rushed at me, but Jian blocked him, who was serious about my actions. It was obvious that her favorability with him was increasing by the way she talked.
“Saint, are you not protecting yourself in this situation?” Curtis asked.
I didn’t even scratch Jian’s face with my nails, but his reaction was a bit too much that it shocked me.
However, he was a target character who had no choice but to love the protagonist, so there was absolutely nothing he could do.
‘Anyway, what kind of game is this? I don’t think it’s just a simple romance simulation game, given that I was given the quest to find out Jian’s identity.’
Looking alternately at the two of them, who obviously wanted to flirt openly in front of me, I shrugged and called Curtis’ status window.
If Curtis appeared as a target character, at least <Experience!> can see it as a game similar to <Scenes of Life>.
<Occupation: Grand Duke of the North>
<Age: 23 years old>
<Location: Caballero Ridge on the Northern Border / Caballero Capital Mansion in the ecliptic / Battlefield Border /*** (This information is locked)>
Curtis’ status window in front of me was as simple as it was at the start of the game. I looked at it slowly, but there was no heart mark indicating favorability. Fortunately, it didn’t seem to be a game that had him as a target.
‘Targeting him with Edith Abina’s character would be impossible.’
As soon as I tried to close the status window, a crunching sound and a new icon appeared in the part where Curtis was supposed to have a favorable impression.
‘What is this?’
I frowned at the pepper-shaped mark instead of the familiar heart, and a small letter shimmered under the mark as if it wanted to reveal its identity.
‘What the hell…?’
Erection was a term I never encountered in the game before.
By analogy with the shape of the mark and words, it seemed to mean a degree of horniness of Curtis, the target character, but it was a figure I had never seen in simple romance simulation games.
‘But why… is it all blank?’
What was more shocking than the unfamiliar word was that a white mark which indicated his erection had somehow filled in half.
