Referring to the car accident that occurred ten minutes ago, the driver chattered on and began to tell Gu Shengming the details, as if he was at the scene right now. 

However, Gu Shengming wasn’t listening, just mindlessly pretending to. His  mind was instead focused on trying to remember the little girl. If she had not told him and his son her warning, Gu Enyu wouldn’t have stopped him. He would have driven out ten minutes ago, and it would have been him in the lake. Such an accident left almost no chance of survival.

The thought of it left Gu Shengming’s back and palms sweaty.

The little girl basically saved his life. 

 Just how could she have predicted all this yesterday? 

Feeling puzzled, he wanted to find the little girl, but because he had left in a hurry with his son yesterday, he hadn’t left his contact information. Would he never meet his little savior ever again? Spacing out, he lost track of time and before he knew it, he was already at the company building. 

As soon as he got out of the car and walked into the hall, he got a phone call from his son 

“Daddy!” Gu Enyu nervously shouted into the phone.

“Gu Enyu, what’s wrong?” 

Hearing his dad’s voice, Gu Enyu breathed a sigh of relief. After his dad left, he was playing games on the iPad when he saw news pop up about a truck knocking a little white car into a lake. The news reporter was livestreaming the scene.

He was terrified when he saw the news. 

His dad’s car was white.

Afraid that his dad got caught in the accident, Gu Enyu quickly called him and was filled with relief when he heard his dad’s voice. It was lucky that he caught a cold and didn’t go to kindergarten today, otherwise his dad would probably be gone. 

“Dad, I saw the news.” 

“Don’t worry son, I’m fine,” Gu Shengming comforted him.

“Good. Dad, don’t drive today, let the driver drive you back.” 

“OK, I know.” Gu Shengming walked towards the elevator. “Enyu, Do you remember the little girl from yesterday? Is she your classmate?”  

Gu Enyu thought of Lu Lu. It was all thanks to her that his dad was safe. 

Unfortunately, he knew neither where Lu Lu lived, nor which kindergarten she went to. Maybe they’ll meet the next time they go to the children’s restaurant? 

It’s all dad’s fault. 

Yesterday, if dad did not forcibly drag him away, he would have been able to use his Little Genius phone watch to leave his sister’s contact information.

Note: (Little genius is a Chinese brand that produces watches that can make phone calls. They are sold mainly to kids.) 

When Gu Enyu thought that he might never get to see Lu Lu again, he was a little frustrated and mad. He whined, “Yesterday I was almost able to get her phone number, it’s all thanks to you that I couldn’t.” 

Gu Shengming was a harsh man, yet when faced with his son’s dissatisfied tone, he was suddenly ashamed of his attitude towards Lu Lu yesterday. 

“It is dad’s fault. If you meet the little sister again, be sure to tell dad, our family has to thank her.”” 

“All right, Dad.” Gu Enyu prayed in his heart hoping he would see her again. 

Lu Lu was the cutest girl he has ever seen. A hundred times, no, a thousand times cuter than any of the girls at his kindergarten. 

And sister Lu Lu could magically predict what would happen in the future. 

Gu Enyu thought that Lu Lu might be a spiritual angel or fairy out of fantasy stories. Well, she must be, otherwise, how could she be so cute and kind?

If only he could be good friends with the little fairy.

Lu Lu originally went to Jinxin kindergarten, a small-scale kindergarten located in the Nine Eyes district.

Yet on Monday, the teacher noticed that Lu Lu did not come to school, so he called Lu Lu’s stepmother Zou Lixiang. On the phone, Zou Lixiang thought that Lu Lu was about to start filming. She would become a child celebrity. She doesn’t even have time to make all the money, so how could she have time to attend school? Kindergarten didn’t teach anything anyways, so it was better to let Lu Lu make some money for the family for the next two or three years, then she could go straight to elementary at six years old. Plus, she would be able to save the money she needed to use on her tuition.

With this in mind, Zou Lixiang quickly withdrew Lu Lu from kindergarten. After getting Lu Lu’s paycheck, she could even switch Rui Rui to a better kindergarten. She had long wanted to cultivate a hobby for Rui Rui, but Lu Yuanzhou’s income could only maintain the basic family living expenses, and she couldn’t afford the cost of Rui Rui’s classes outside of school. Now, well, Lu Yuanzhou couldn’t finance it, so now her daughter could do it for him. Marrying him wasn’t in vain. 

Her plan was to make good use of being Lu Lu’s guardian to make some more money while the girl was still you. After all,  when her wings have fully grown and she becomes an adult, she’d be harder to control. 

But right now Lu Lu was only three years old, still far from adulthood. 

If she could successfully step into the entertainment industry and become a child actor, she would make Zou Lixiang a lot of money for the remaining fifteen years that she would be her guardian.

She could then use Lu Lu’s income to buy a few more suites in prime locations to rent out, and she could have tens of thousands of dollars of rent a month. She and Rui Rui wouldn’t have to worry about money again. 

Zou Lixiang walked back from the supermarket.  

Just then, she heard a voice coming from a gazebo beside her. 

“Aunt Zhang, how’s the family next door to your house? Does the woman still abuse the little girl?”  

The woman, who was called Miss Zhang, turned, looked around, lowered her voice and replied, “I was going to tell you about it.” 

“What’s wrong?” A group of people inquired.   

Aunt Zhang’s face changed, and said: “I haven’t seen Lu Lu for a couple of days now… I can’t hear her voice through the walls anymore.”
