Executive Cen? Zhang Baoshu automatically looked around the room.

There were a total of six men in the room, with three of them standing and the rest sitting. The ones that were standing didn’t look like someone of high importance. Among those seated, one of them was Mr. Zhang, and another was a middle-aged man with a female companion who was also a celebrity.

Zhang Baoshu recovered her attention and hastily bent her body to reach for a pack of cigarettes on the table. But she couldn’t open it no matter what.

Cen Sen turned his head and glanced over her quickly, “No, thanks.” He raised his palm slightly to signal rejection.

Zhang Baoshu didn’t know what to do at that moment.

Mr. Zhang couldn’t stand her sluggishness anymore, so he pointed with his finger, “Pour some wine.”

“……”

“…” Zhang Baoshu paused for a second and then reached for the wine bottle passively.

Not knowing why she appeared to be in a hurried and confused manner tonight.

She was usually clever; that was why the agent gave her tonight’s chance.

The other two females who were accompanying the other men gave her a mocking expression. Mr. Zhang’s companion even chose this particular timing to show off her understanding by placing her fingers on Mr. Zhang’s forehead and massaging him. Her burgundy colored nails with the silver glitter on top appeared extremely eye-catching as it sparkled brightly under the light.

“Zhang…Baoshu.”

“Birth name?” Cen Sen suddenly looked at her after remaining silent this entire time.”

Zhang Baoshu shook her head. “Stage name.”

“What’s your birth name?”

Zhang Baoshu appeared to be a bit reluctant, making no reply.

Cen Sen didn’t care either; he shifted his eyes to the cards and started to calmly adjust the position of the cards on his hand.

His fingers were long and skinny, making his hand posture appearing like he was playing with a piece of art.

After a few seconds of hesitation, Zhang Baoshu answered softly, “My birth name is… Zhang Yanhong.”

As she finished her words, her ears suddenly turned red. She knew that her name sounded out of date.

As expected, the female companions couldn’t hold back their laughs, and Mr. Zhang even commented that her name sounded like a maid’s name from the last century.

Cen Sen reacted differently than the others, only saying plainly, “I like your birth name. Baoshu doesn’t fit you.”

His light tone sounded so gentle and pleasant to Zhang Baoshu. She froze on the spot, forgetting to contemplate why the stage name doesn’t fit her well.

The last half of this social event was occupied by men’s discussion. Zhang Baoshu didn’t understand what they were talking about as she wasn’t even paying attention at all. She suddenly started to feel more confident, as if she was possessed.

After serving Cen Sen with the wine, she sat next to him obediently, handing him some things from time to time to assist him.

Mr. Zhang didn’t like her earlier, but now he gave her an eye that said “pretty good.”
