Do Flowers Bloom in the Fallen Land? - Chapter 104.1
Of the three Alpha and one Omega, none other than Calrad was the first to come to their senses.
On a deep night, he was catching his breath while enjoying the afterglow of pleasure right after ejaculation. His mind cleared up faintly and reason came on its own. He looked straight at who he was currently having sex with.
Calrad, of course, knew. Was there anyone else he’d be greedy for than Seira?
However, if he said that he did it fully knowing, it definitely wasn’t the case.
Calrad wouldn’t have sought her during rut even if Seira would become Crown Princess in her own right. The same was true even after Seira manifested as an Omega. This was because she was too vulnerable to receive an Alpha who’d lost his mind.
He’d never forget anything, and recalled his boyhood with her more clearly than seven years without Seira.
In his memory, Seira was a delicate creature like a fawn. Her big eyes always seemed to be in sorrow even when she wasn’t crying, and her elegant but tender body was too light to feel any weight at all. Even though he brought all kinds of precious things from the continent, fed her, cared for her, she was easily injured and suffered from illness every season.
So, if he was in his right mind, he wouldn’t have left her body in the hands of three Alphas who’d lost their mind.
“Seira…”
“Yes…”
Eyes half-closed and catching her breath, she looked up at his call. The purple eyes were beautiful even when they were hazy. Moreover, the way she smiled at him reminded him of the past when they were each other’s world, and his heart felt it was about to burst.
Even if she looked at him for a moment, Seira was attracted by Baron’s touch and kissed him. Her hands rubbed Baron’s penis and didn’t stop, even as she twisted her tongue and rubbed her lips promiscuously.
The same was true with her other hand. She was shaking Louis’ hard penis as he sucked and held her breasts.
He could’ve turned around with a shiver at the obscene act, but Calrad couldn’t bear to do that.
It was because he realized that she would have to leave her body to another Alpha like this whenever her heat cycle came.
Of course, she might’ve enjoyed it at some point and eventually got used to it like now, but thinking about what it must’ve been like at first for her made him gasp.
“I… I don’t want you to go through this…”
Until now, he’d been buried in the things he had to deal with because of her choice.
‘If that child chooses you over Askan, I will use my hands to make her an Empress even if she doesn’t manifest as an Omega.’
On that day, he had no choice but to respond to the Emperor’s suggestion.
‘You’re leaving the palace together? Don’t make me laugh. Do you think she’ll accept you, who isn’t the Crown Prince or anything? If you don’t become Emperor, you’re done!’
After she left without regret, he had no other option, even though he didn’t know that it was the High Priest’s plan to manipulate the Emperor as he pleased under the pretext of his past sins.
‘Look at that. His Majesty has been taken advantage of, of course.’
Calrad lost so much. The imperial authority, which had been nibbled on little by little, had already been halved by the time he sat on the throne, and every move he made was monitored by the temple’s limbs that were crazy all throughout the palace.
It took no less than seven years to reduce their influence bit by bit and eliminate the rats in the palace.
But he seemed to realize now that the price he had to pay was too trivial compared to what she had to go through.
Calrad used his power to separate Luis Franto and Baron Jeff from her and put them to rest. Normally, it would’ve been a formidable task, but now that they’ve lost their judgment, it was possible without any resistance.
When all the Alphas that had stuck to her disappeared, Seira sat blankly on the bed. Calrad washed and changed her clothes by hand.
After replacing the bedsheet, she stuck to him again, trying to lay him down.
“Don’t go. Hug me…”
“…Okay.”
Calrad held her in his arms and healed her. The same way he did a long time ago.
The poor girl, whose eyes were always moist then because of constant tears, often needed him. Without his comfort and touch, it was hard to take his eyes off of her because he felt like she’d die if he didn’t have his arms wrapped around her protectively.
As Crown Prince, the amount of work to be done every day was fixed, so he had to reduce rest and sleep to take care of her, but he never felt like it was a bother nor did he hate her.
