Do Flowers Bloom in the Fallen Land? - Chapter 142.2
To be honest, it was crazy. The earth, water, and air were all contaminated by the evil poison that originated from the giants.
Upon the return of its master, D-Arc restarted the functions that had stopped, and Askan began to gradually be purified, but the burden on Seira, who was like the heart of the entire duchy, was immense.
Feeling a sense of crisis, D-Arc chose to become one with her to save her. Just as the beast’s nest and the flowers that bloomed in it, it decided to make her its ‘king’ and live and die together.
Unaware of this, Tesser tried to marry her and take ownership, but it was impossible in the first place. Even if she wanted to, D-Arc wouldn’t allow it.
“Now Seira’s body is in a grave condition of contamination. Her constant exposure to poison during her stay on this land, and half of it due to consuming the blood of His Highness the Crown Prince. If she becomes more poisoned here, D-Arc will also be completely corrupted. She will be confined to the castle forever.”
Louis didn’t bother to say that everyone here would die and become beasts. It’s something one can easily guess.
“What should we do? There must be a way to recover and purify it.”
“Well…”
Louis glanced at Calrad and trailed off.
“…The blood of Viseltium?”
“It should be like that, right?”
With a long sigh, Baron stretched out his bent back.
“Alright, if that’s the only way.”
At their feet after the conversation, the sixteenth Guardian was lying face down, pierced by a sword.

“You’ve overdone it. Please go inside the castle and rest for a moment.”
“But Aven… What about the high-level beasts?”
Seira stared into Aven’s eyes, which could not get redder and seemed to be dripping with blood. He seemed to have absorbed the power they had, even though she thought he’d just grab and pop the Guardian’s core one by one.
According to her calculations, his magic was so dark that it was difficult to grasp. Seira clasped his hands pretending not to know it was monstrously overflowing.
“I’ll just be by your side. Then I think everything will be fine.”
Her instincts were whispering, that the moment she took her eyes off him, everyone would be in danger. That that too because he was the man that she loved the most in the world.
The issue was that her physical strength had reached its limit. As she dragged her powers almost to the bottom, she vomited blood several times and suffered a lot of minor injuries. Even though Aven’s contribution was overwhelming, it was only natural because she had dealt with Guardians five times.
‘What should I do now?’
If she had detonated the debris and died with Aven, everything would’ve been solved neatly, but now she couldn’t use it. But she can’t let everyone get hurt…
Seira looked around. It was extremely busy and chaotic as they were collecting dead bodies while moving the injured inside and giving emergency treatment. Those who didn’t realize how miraculous it was to destroy seventeen Guardians were full of hope. Even if they’d come all the way here determined to die, no one would truly wish for the end.
‘What should I do with them…?’
Then suddenly, a shadow hung over her.
“Seira.”
“…Wow. Our commander-in-chief, you look like a mess.”
He wasn’t bleeding because of his healing power, but the tattered clothes showed that Baron also struggled quite a bit.
Baron looked down at her words and scratched the tip of his eyebrows as if he as embarrassed.
“I was prepared to lose one of my arms and legs, but this is a miracle.”
“I know. Well done, Baron.”
Seira suddenly read the hesitation in his expression.
“Why? Do you have something to say?”
Baron, who nodded, added.
“If possible, just the two of us.”
“Well…”
Looking at Aven with a frown as if troubled, she spotted Zion passing by and beckoned him.
“Zion, can you help me?”
As if it were a lie that he’d been walking with a drooping trudge, Zion approached her with delight.
“Of course. How can I help you?”
“Please do some soundproof magic. Let’s have a chat with Baron.”
Zion did so immediately and nodded at Seira, who didn’t let go of Aven’s hand.
“Yes, I’ll do it for you.”
After moving to a corner so that no one would be distracted, Zion casted a soundproofing spell so that only Baron and Seira could enter the area. Fortunately, Aven didn’t say much as if satisfied with just holding her hand. Although, his eyes were as fierce as a leashed beast.
“Now it’s okay. What are you talking about?”
“That’s…”
Baron, who glanced at Aven’s expression, began the story by speaking in a voice as low as possible.
“So, according to you…”
After hearing all of Baron’s words, Seira questioned him.
“At this rate, the duchy will be the nest of the beasts, and Aven will be the Guardian, right?”
“Yes, so either with the help of His Majesty or with my blood…”
She burst into a big smile as she saw him suggesting with a serious look on her face.
“What, Baron, where did you hear something so strange?”
“Seira, I know you can’t believe it, but…”
“That’s enough. Let’s stop talking nonsense and hurry up and get ready.”
Seira pushed Baron’s back and let him out of the area of soundproof magic. She let out a sigh of relief at the thought of finally finding a way.
