“Oh, you’re right.” Ji Qingzhou patted her forehead. She instantly attributed the matter to Ye Duanhong and Jiang Qianke. To cover up their actions, they must have fabricated an unwarranted wisp of evil aura and pushed all the blame to it.

However, she failed to consider that even if Ye Duanhong and Jiang Qianke had high status in the sect, the sect master and Yu Sukong would not rashly believe their empty words.

Ye Duanhong had presented his blackened Good and Evil Stone. This wonderful magic treasure belonged to Yin Muchen, Xuanyun Sect’s Sect Master. The change of the stone was a fact. The dark color was pure, which indicated that the aura it sensed was extremely evil.

However, this was something that the elders of Xuanyun Sect had to consider. A disciple like Ji Qingzhou who had just started out couldn’t understand the inside story at all.

In the afternoon, Elder Qiao Shu came over to cast a Defense Formation on White Water Island. Shen Rongyu also came, because this formation was a barrier, and the two disciples who were living inside needed to agree on the catchphrase for them to enter.

This thing was similar to a modern combination lock. After Qiao Shu set up the formation, he turned his back and moved away a bit, letting them discuss the spell for themselves.

“What spell does Zhouzhou want?” Shen Rongyu turned his head and looked into her eyes.

Ji Qingzhou’s eyes were captivating, clear and flawless, like a sweet mountain spring.

But Ji Qingzhou averted her gaze. She didn’t have an iota of creativity and couldn’t think of any ingenious catchphrases.

She replied, “Xiao Yu-shixiong, what do you think?”

“Okay.” Shen Rongyu nodded in agreement.

He entered seven words in the barrier spell — Xiao Yu-shixiong, What Do You Think. His strokes were so fluid that Ji Qingzhou didn’t even have time to stop him.

“Xiao Yu-shixiong, how can this be used as a catchphrase to unlock the barrier?” Ji Qingzhou watched as the last piece of the Defense Formation in front of her was put together, and the only gap began to close.

“You said it.” Shen Rongyu’s lips curled up, and seemingly justified his actions to Ji Qingzhou.

Ji Qingzhou wanted to say something else, because this catchphrase sounded too shameful. She did say it, but would Shen Rongyu also say it himself?

However, when Qiao Shu saw that the formation spell was set, he walked over. With his hands behind his back, he smiled at the two of them: “Is it set?”

“Elder Qiao, it’s ready,” Shen Rongyu confirmed politely.

“I went to a certain desolate mortal village a few days ago and brought back some flower seeds, and I have to go back to study how to plant them, so I’m leaving.” After Qiao Shu’s business was done, he left.

Hence, the catchphrase “Xiao Yu-shixiong, what do you think?” could not be changed.

“Xiao Yu-shixiong,” Ji Qingzhou called Shen Rongyu, “This catchphrase…”

“What about it?” Shen Rongyu’s willowy eyebrows rose slightly. He glanced at Ji Qingzhou and asked, “Is there anything wrong with it?”

There was nothing wrong with these seven words. Ji Qingzhou could only abandon herself recklessly and utter the seven words directly to the barrier.

The barrier opened immediately. With the Burial Snow Sword hanging on his waist, Shen Rongyu watched Ji Qingzhou enter White Water Island.

“Xiao Yu-shixiong, aren’t you coming in?” Ji Qingzhou asked curiously.

“I still have something to do, so goodbye for now,” Shen Rongyu said to her.

He spun around and flew into the air with his sword, his figure disappearing in a flash.

The day she finally took a leave of absence passed in confusion and embarrassment. There was still one day left before her weekly break.

The morning class on the next day was the Beast Mastery class, which was to let the disciples learn how to control spirit beasts. The reason why Yu Sukong chose this class for her was very simple, because he thought Profound Frost Beasts were cute, and he thought that Ji Qingzhou would like them too.

Ever since Ji Qingzhou was kicked by a Profound Frost Beasts last time, she had had a shadow on this tall young spirit beast.

The Profound Frost Beast in front of her had a spirit harness tied around its neck, standing in front of her. When it stood on all fours, it was taller than her.

The Profound Frost Beasts was an ice attribute spirit beast with ice-blue fur all over its body. During summer, when one raised their hand to touch its fur, it felt comfortable and cool.

Most of the disciples couldn’t help but secretly pet the cat-like spirit beasts’ fur. Ji Qingzhou, on the contrary, didn’t dare to extend her hand. She lowered her head and picked out the ice spirit fruit in her basket.

Her Profound Frost Beast didn’t want to eat the Ice Spirit Fruit. It just wanted Ji Qingzhou to pet it, because other disciples were petting their Profound Frost Beasts. Hence, it leaned its head sideways obediently.

Ji Qingzhou was so frightened that she shoved the Ice Spirit Fruit from the basket into its mouth. The Profound Frost Beast chewed it and spat out the core.

At this moment, Meng Yaolan, who was in the same class as Ji Qingzhou, walked towards her, holding the Profound Frost Beasts assigned to her in one hand.

“Miss Ji,” Meng Yaolan greeted her, recalling the news that spread throughout the Xuanyun Sect. “A mysterious person infiltrated your White Water Island and released the Soul Seeking Nails, right?”

“Huh?” Ji Qingzhou turned around with the basket in one hand, and responded. She thought, since everyone in the Xuanyun Sect claimed that, she might as well follow suit. She had no room for explanation, and  had no proof that she was the target that night.

So she nodded and said, “Yes.”

Meng Yaolan blinked and asked, “Is the barrier on White Water Island ready?”

“Yeah,” Ji Qingzhou lowered her head and replied.
