Kyle didn’t like Noah’s restraint. In the car, as they left after the ruling he kept glancing at it.

But Noah’s attention was on something else.

What would it be? It was Muel who was sitting on her lap and just staring at her.

Noah nudged away Muel who was trying to hug her neck. Of course, Noah’s heart weakened when she saw his dark red eyes become filled with tears. (pr: Muel has never done anything wrong in his entire lifeT_T)

“Noah, are you angry…?”

“…….”

“I’m sorry…”

Perhaps the word “sorry” did not really explain that he was aware of his mistake. Noah knew it was time to change her teaching methods. No matter how many times she instructed him verbally to, “Don’t do this” or “Don’t do that,” Muel only did as he was told the moment she told him, but he never really understood why he shouldn’t do it.

What to do then… Noah threw a glance at Kyle, who was sitting to her right, still alternately staring at her wrist and neck.

“Um, Sir. Can I ask you for a favor?”

“Go ahead.”

“I don’t think my teaching method is working for Muel. I want you to help me.”

“How?”

“I’d like to send him on field trips to the Security Department.”

“What?”

At the unexpected request, Kyle turned to stare at her.

“I wonder if the child doesn’t understand everything, as he’s just saying sorry without meaning it… If we want him to learn what is normal and the laws between humans, I think it’s better if he can see them with his own eyes. Since the Bureau is full of criminals, and because you’re a principled man, don’t you think he’ll have more to see and hear if he was by your side?”

“Yes.”

To try to prevent Kyle from refusing Noah explained her reasoning, but surprisingly Kyle had replied quickly. Noah thought he had answered without listening to her, but when she looked at him in suspicion, Kyle added with his eyes fixed on her neck.

“I think that’s a good idea. Muel had been doing some really, really bizarre things for the last couple of days in the Royal Palace, and I was trying to think of a way to solve this.”

“What has he done?”

“He destroyed His Majesty’s office, climbed up the highest spire of the fortress, and knocked down the tower.”

“…….”

“He was surrounded by all sorts of precious things, but he was looking for you all the time, and eventually I went and begged him, and I was glad he pretended to listen.”

Noah didn’t have the face to look at Kyle anymore, so she turned to Muel and pinched his plump cheeks.

“You troublemaker. If you were being a good boy, I would let you go back to your dragon form. Sigh, you can’t go a day without making trouble.”

“I’m sorry … ” 

“No, I’m not going to talk about it anymore because you broke your promise and caused trouble, so as a punishment, you should follow Uncle Kyle once a week.”

“Please don’t call me that, Miss Noah.”

“…Follow the investigator, see what punishment you’ll get if you break human laws, and write a letter of apology.”

Kyle touched his forehead, and Muel pouted. Noah gripped Muel’s chubby rice cake-like cheeks tightly with her palm.

“It’s no use making such a cute face. You and I are having special lessons starting today. Do you understand?”

He was too good at answering. Noah can’t even tell him off for real. Noah just sighed and gripped Muel’s cheeks.

The car had just entered the central Aijet district. Far off in the distance, Eleonora’s mansion came into view.
