“I’m suspicious of Adrian anyway.”

That evening, Noah talked to Kyle, who visited Eleonora’s mansion without fail. Kyle, who sat opposite at a long table that could seat at least 30 people, raised his eyebrows as if he were uncomfortable.

“I can’t hear you.”

“Adrian! Maybe! Prime Minister!”

As Noah shouted and waved her knife and fork in her hands, she freaked out and pushed the chair back when she saw Kyle jump up and approach.

“Don’t come near me!”

“……?”

Kyle stopped halfway around the table. Then he crossed his arms and looked at her with suspicious eyes.

“Why are you doing this these days?”

“What am I doing?”

Noah crept back into the chair, noticing his expression. Her heart pounded as she was so surprised. Noah was on the verge of becoming pathetic now and she felt a deep sense of self-consciousness and avoided Kyle’s gaze. Kyle asked persistently.

“You’re avoiding me these days, am I wrong?”

“Um. Right?”

“Can I sit next to you?”

“Oh, huh, yeah. What?”

Kyle closed the remaining distance while she stuttered. Noah stared miserably at the salad on the table, feeling trapped.

Come to your senses, Noah Park. It’s just a butler sitting next to you now. A cranky butler who nags a lot…

But as soon as Kyle sat next to her, all of Noah’s efforts to calm down went down the drain. If it hadn’t been for the restraint, she might have damaged and thrown the table twice by now.

“I thought you thought Minister Rossinel was suspicious, but I think you’re going to go tonight… Miss. Noah, you should look in the others’ eye when you’re talking.”

Noah stubbornly avoided his gaze, so Kyle leaned over her with his arms on the table and persistently clung to her, even after rolling his eyes. After all, she hadn’t said anything.

“I’m aware of it.” 

“The house is very messy.” Noah finally replied.

“You always pretend it isn’t.”

But Kyle seemed to be used to her mess after a long time. Well, this guy was the one who cleaned up the mess when he mistook me for Eleonora.

“If you haven’t washed, you can wash up, and it was my job to clean up the messy house, so it’s not a good reason.”

“Why on earth are you avoiding me?”

Noah couldn’t bear to answer and slowly poked her steak with a fork, and Kyle called her name.

“Miss Noah.”

“… yes.”

“Did I do something wrong?” (note:Yea, you’re too handsome so Noah’s heart can’t resist you 🤣)
