I Was Admitted To The Villain School - Chapter 2.1
The dormitory building was designed in the same style as the entrance, its walls saturated with cyberpunk colors.
Lin Xinghe felt at peace inside, so much so that even if architecture from another galaxy appeared, she wouldn’t find it strange.
No one was at the silent dorm entrance.
Following the signs, Lin Xinghe found Room 303 effortlessly.
The door was made of tin, and the glass of the top half was already broken, spiderweb cracks spiraling from an impact point. The lower half was pasted over with a few mottled newspapers, streaks of green and purple peeking through.
Rooms 304 and 305, on the other hand, were all designed normally, each with a clean wooden door.
Lin Xinghe was silent for a second, calmly accepting this setting.
She opened the door.
The dormitory was a single room. Fortunately, the interior design style was completely different from the door. All the furnishings were ordinarily modern, and the room was around 16 square meters, just like a high-end small apartment. Although the room was small, the necessities were all there. There was even a small kitchen near the entrance, complete with an induction stove and a microwave oven.
Opening the cabinets, she discovered a complete set of bowls, plates, and utensils. She found the freshman handbook on the desk in a large gift box that contained a cell phone and a laptop as well as a cyan wristband.
Lin Xinghe quickly scanned through the handbook.
All the villains who died in the real world were invited to this school to reform themselves. The so-called reformation consisted of taking exams and accumulating points. After reaching a certain number of points, the villains could graduate, leave the school, and get a new life.
Points were the most important things in this school. Food, clothing, housing, and transportation were all tied to the points.
Each person started with 100 points, and there was a fixed 50 point fee each month for the tuition and dorm rent. Once their points were used up, a student would be expelled from the school and die again.
The main way to get points was through exams. Specifically what kind of exams they were was not mentioned in the handbook.
After Lin Xinghe understood more about the school, she felt a little more at ease. She had already died and now had a chance towards resurrection. No matter what the exams were about, all she had to do was study hard.
The only thing she doubted now—how could she be a villain?
Everything in her life had been smooth sailing; no matter how you look at it, she was the main character. Although she died a little bit tragically, looking back on her short life, she would at least be a second female lead if not the heroine. How did she fall to villain status?
She didn’t even do anything bad in her life!
This doubt was assuaged when she put on the cyan bracelet.
As soon as the bracelet was placed on her wrist, a transparent message box popped up.
Name: Lin Xinghe
Class: Class 1, Modern Department
Points: 100
Rating: Class D
Check the biography of the character?
Lin Xinghe chose “Yes”.
Lin Xinghe, age 23, had an easy-going and gentle personality. She didn’t have much ambition and went where life took her. After graduating from college, she was cast in “April and the World” by a new director and became famous. Her smooth ascension into the entertainment circle gradually caused her ego to expand, and the hefty influence her fame brought made her forget her humble beginnings. When newcomer Lin Youyou stole her limelight again and again based on her abilities, [Lin Xinghe] couldn’t stand it and framed Lin Youyou in many situations. However, due to the justice of the heavens, she would fail miserably each time. After her deeds were exposed on social media, Lin Xinghe jumped off a twenty-eight-story high-rise building, ending her young life in one fell swoop.
Lin Xinghe: ? ? ? ?
…Who was Lin Youyou?
After thinking about it for a long time, Lin Xinghe recalled someone named Lin Youyou, but she was still a trainee who had not debuted yet. Because of her beautiful appearance and some family connections, she was frequently searched.
But that wasn’t the point!
The point was, Lin Xinghe didn’t know her at all! She never even did these things!
And she was struck to death by lightning, not by jumping off a building.
Was there a bug?
She felt that she was quite wronged. Everyone else was a real villain, but she could be considered a quasi-villain at most. She hadn’t even done anything wrong but was labeled as a villain.
However, Lin Xinghe considered it and felt that it was not a loss. She already died, and as long as she studied hard for the exam now and maxed out her points, she could be resurrected. After being resurrected, she already knew the story of her future. As long as she avoided Lin Youyou, she could avoid this whole catastrophe.
After coming to this conclusion, Lin Xinghe felt at peace and went to the bathroom to take a shower. Then, she lay down on her bed.
As soon as her head touched the pillow, she fell into a deep, undisturbed sleep.
After all, a person who has already died has nothing to fear.
When Lin Xinghe got up the next day and walked to the educational campus, her worldview shifted again.
When she was in college, the school was in the suburbs and was known for being especially vast.
Most people chose to bike to or pay a dollar for the bus ride to the educational buildings. Some people would even walk to the teaching building half an hour in advance, and only a few individual students would drive luxury cars.
However, at that moment, Lin Xinghe stood on the spacious road and suddenly realized that the school’s style did not match at all.
This was due to the strange transportation methods. There were people flying swords and riding brooms. The ground level was a little more normal, there were the sightseeing cars that Lu Qin drove yesterday as well as bicycles and ordinary cars.
There were also people who were as light as swallows, tip-toeing on the roofs of cars.
As she passed by, a lot of people were cussing each other out.
“Those who know light cultivation are so amazing! Fucking trampling my car with shoe prints!”
“Don’t let me catch which class you belong to, brat, I will burn you to death.”
“Hey! Those who are flying, can you guys follow etiquette? Don’t litter!”
“What the hell, you cultivators, didn’t you start fasting early? Why are you eating breakfast? The seaweed egg drop soup you drank splashed down! I just washed my hair!”
“Fuck! Which earth-type psycho made a big hole here! Almost killed this daddy!*”
……
TL Notes:
*The slang “dad” or “daddy” in Chinese is a way for someone with a lot of power/money to refer to themselves.
