Little Terrified Bun - Chapter 17
Wei Jing was seven-years-old this year and currently attended second grade at elementary school.
Because Wei Zhe got into a car accident, and because of everything that happened afterwards, Wei Jing hadn’t been to school in almost a month.
Wei Zhe was afraid the cute child would get bullied at school, so he especially prepared a big box of fancy handmade chocolates in the morning for him to bribe his classmates. He also reminded him several times that if anyone bullied him to not fight back and to just tell the teacher directly instead – he’d take care of things from there.
After all, it appeared to Wei Zhe that his younger brother was simply a delicate, decorative jade piece; if he was knocked around or hurt in any way, that would be a big problem.
Wei Jing got fed all these twisted theories so early in the day, it made his brain swell. In the end perhaps something spazzed in his brain, but he suddenly said, “Big brother, why are you so long-winded? Are you starting menopause?” He successfully… provoked Wei Zhe.
All that could be said was, Wei Jing’s words hit Wei Zhe right where it hurt! In his past life he was already twenty-six years old – if you tried calculating it, menopause … really wasn’t that far off.

And so this morning, the workers of the Wei family’s old house all saw their young master, a gloomy expression on his face, storming along in front, the younger little master anxiously apologizing behind him.
Sigh! Poor little master!
This really was a splendid misunderstanding.
The three members of the Wei family attended the same school now, except Wei Jing and Wei Min were in the elementary school department, and Wei Zhe was in the middle school department.
As the family chauffeur dropped the three of them off at school, even if Wei Zhe wanted to go after his younger brother to make sure of his situation, he could only stop reluctantly. His current young age was a big problem – he could not risk letting Wei He find out that he valued Wei Jing deeply right now.
He just has to wait a few more years, until he is eighteen, then everything would be fine.
During this time he won’t just idle around. He will work hard to develop his influence. This way, he can take Wei Jing under his wing and protect him as soon as possible.
The second grade classrooms are almost all located on the first floor, all except for Wei Jing’s class, because his class is the legendary gifted class. The second floor is much quieter than the first floor, which makes students focus more during lectures. Of course, there were some bad points.
For example, last time Wei Jing fell from the stairs.
Even though Wei Jing wasn’t the smartest, he was willing to work hard. His school grades at the end of the year remained around the top 10 in rankings, and coupled with his looks and good upbringing, he was pretty popular at school.
Back to the present, as soon as he returned to class, he became surrounded by a group of people firing question after question.
Wei Jing couldn’t remember very clearly each of his elementary school classmates. He could only smile and deal with their questions begrudgingly, then match a name to each face according to what they had said.
“You guys, get out of my way.” Suddenly, a little fatty pushed through the crowd, and squeezed right in front of the child.
When Wei Jing saw him, it was like he met his archenemy – this… this was his one his childhood nightmares!
Fatty Ye!
This kid’s family background was pretty good, and he had a strong and sturdy build. When Wei Jing fell down the stairs previously, it was because he said he wanted to be friends with him, which caused Wei Jing to miss a step. In the past life, after he recovered from the injury, he thought he had gained a new friend, but who knew this kid would suddenly change his mind and start targeting him.
Wei Jing couldn’t beat him in a fight or an argument. And children at this age especially despised tattling to the teacher.
So he could only endure everything himself, and afterwards Wei Jing’s elementary school career was deeply shrouded by this looming shadow.
“You… what are you doing?” Wei Jing’s body tensed up, ready to fight at any moment.
But who would’ve known that the opposing side wouldn’t play his cards with common sense!
“Waaahh!!!” A wailing cry spilled out the child’s mouth. The little fat boy’s face was covered in snot and tears. “They said that you fell down the stairs and died, I’m so afraid of you dying! Wei Jing, don’t die! Waahhh~~”
Wei Jing looked away with an expression of disgust. Who spread the rumor – show yourself at once.
“Alright, alright, don’t cry. I’m fine, aren’t I?” Wei Jing was the one hurt here, but . He patted the other boy on the shoulder, then pulled a small handkerchief he carried everywhere out from his pant pocket and handed it to the chubby boy. “Here, wipe your tears. We have class soon.”
“Oh right!” Fatty Ye cocked his head slightly, a silly bubble blowing out from his nose. He smiled happily, “This way I don’t have to go to jail, amazing.”
Wei Jing: ……
The little fat boy smeared all his tears and snot onto the handkerchief and then, without a care, tried putting the handkerchief back into Wei Jing’s hand, but Wei Jing dodged it. Oh mommy, it’s so dirty!
“I’m okay now, I’ll give this back to you,” the chubby boy said, looking at him in confusion.
“The ‘young master’ dislikes you, can’t you see? Fatty,” an arrogant and annoying voice sounded behind the two.
Wei Jing’s face froze – here it comes. Another one of his childhood nightmares.
