The sky was already slightly dim when Wei Zhe exited the cafe. He looked down at his watch. It was 5:21pm.

The two children were whispering something to each other, whereas Li Pei was eating the cookies silently, occasionally moving the plate of cookies towards Wei Jing, making the short-limbed child’s life much easier.

Not knowing why, Wei Zhe felt slightly uncomfortable.

What was Li Pei’s intention in pleasing his younger brother?

“Big brother.” The child looked up. His eyes met his Big brother’s unexpected eyes coincidentally, and his body cowered subconsciously. He ran to Wei Zhe’s side eagerly. His soft hand held onto the teenager’s thick palm. “Big brother, you’re back. Did you come to pick me up specifically? Come on, eat cookies. Aunt Xu’s handmade cookies are delicious.” Wei Jing greeted with a slight appeasement.

The child’s face revealed hopelessness and he cast a glance at his Big brother with a pitiful look. “I…. I did it intentionally,” he added with a grief-stricken tone.

Just when Wei Jing was hesitating about whether he should pull back his hand, he suddenly felt a sense of warmth on his fingertip. The child looked up, shocked. Big…Big brother ate something that he bit?

After Wei Zhe finished eating, he even commented, “It tastes pretty good.”

Wei Jing’s heart jolted. He blinked his eyes and started to play dumb. “What do I want?”

“Little rascal.” The teenager reached out to the child’s soft nose and pinched it. With a pampering tone, he continued, “When we were at the Xu residence just now, who was the one who stared at the decorations so intensely that he didn’t even bother to blink?” He bent down and met the child’s eyes. “We talked about it before. If you have something you want, you need to tell Big brother and not hide it. Don’t you think you’re a little liar?”

Wei Jing felt like…crying.

Not because he was sad, but because he was elated.

It turned out that Big Brother had been looking at him the whole time? It turned out that his big brother knew everything he was thinking?
