She sat back on the sofa and prepared a few things for hiring Kang Yu and suddenly received a WeChat message for Qin Xiang.

Qin Xiang: Sister Zhiyin, my brother is in a bad state. Can you… come see him?

Qin Xiang: I will only ask just this once. You don’t need to do this for me! This is because he has been my brother for eighteen years. If you don’t come, he deserves it.

After sending it, Ruan Zhiyin put down her phone.

She believed, to prevent herself from being alienated, Qin Xiang would no longer bring up Qin Jue to her again.

Cheng Yuelin raised his eyebrows and looked at her before firing back: “It’s not something I ate a lot of before.”

He normally did not like the fishy taste of seafood. If it wasn’t for the fact that she had made it personally, he would not have eaten it.

Ruan Zhiyin looked at his “obviously I am right” eyes and breathed a long sigh: “Then let’s go to the hospital.”

Then she pulled out her phone and put their names into the queue.

She remembered that there was a good private hospital near the company. The fees were a bit high, but it was possible to show up without an appointment.

After signing up, she put down her phone.

Only then did Ruan Zhiyin notice that the man was watching her actions carefully, but she could not tell what emotions were flashing through his dark eyes.

“What are you looking at me for?” Then she frowned again and said: “You’re already an adult. Are you scared of going to the hospital?”

Qin Jue was still checked in as a patient at that hospital.

He had just glanced at the appointment page she was on just now and it seemed to be the hospital where Qin Jue was staying.

If Qian Fan saw the current situation, he would have made up some story line about the female lead being worried about the seriously injured male lead, and fate would cause the two of them to meet at the hospital.
