After Lu Lixing ended the call, he did a search on the dating program they were going to film.

The director was a very experienced variety program director. His directing and program plans were well received and had good reviews from the general public. Even the viewership for his shows was not bad.

And for this dating program, the director had a rather good eye when he picked the celebrity couples. They were all those who were shipped together as CPs by fans, those who didn’t have a happy ending together in the movies (making use of the program to continue their fate outside the movie to attract viewers), and lastly, there were also those who were couples in real life.

Although the three days of filming were not fixed to one roof, they must live together and pretend to date during the three days for the audience to see.

Basically— be lovey-dovey in front of the audience.

Before Lu Lixing got off from work, Chen Shuyi informed him about what the director said: if he was willing to attend the program, don’t say five days, even ten days was possible.

To show his sincerity, the director even personally brought the program’s plan to the Lu Corporation on that very same day’s afternoon, intending to meet with Lu Lixing in person.

The director’s surname was “Wang” and all along, he had a good eye for discerning people. Lu Lixing, this person, was young and capable, at the same time, he was also mysterious and rich. Director Wang would occasionally spot him at some event’s reception and he was what people called—a man that exudes charisma as he walked. For this kind of person to appear in his program, there’s no need to say any further, the amount of virality it would get won’t be lesser than those of celebrities.

Director Wang waited in the waiting area for a bit before the assistant brought him into Lu Lixing’s office.

After they chatted for about half an hour, Director Wang left the room beaming.

When Ji Qingqing received Qin Yue’s call once more, she was with Aunt Pei playing with Si Si together at the lawn beside the lake. At the side, Old Lu was sitting inside the mini pavilion fishing. The spring wind blew, making one feel really relaxed and comfortable.

“Si Si! Run quickly!” Aunt Pei threw the frisbee and Si Si excitedly scampered towards the frisbee’s direction. Before the frisbee could land, Si Si caught it securely between its jaws. Feeling proud of its achievement, Si Si wagged its tail and made its way back to Aunt Pei’s side.

Aunt Pei rewardingly fed it a piece of beef cube and lovingly stroked its head. “So obedient.”

Si Si had stayed at the Lu house for quite a while and all along it was Aunt Pei who took care of it. Among the occupants of the Lu house, it was the closest to Aunt Pei. There were times where Ji Qingqing wanted to play with Si Si, but once it heard Aunt Pei’s voice from afar,  Si Si would happily wag its tail and run towards Aunt Pei and circle around her legs. Each time this made Ji Qingqing rather annoyed.

This ungrateful little puppy. Originally, it was her who ‘endured that humiliation’ in order to get Lu Lixing to agree to bring it back home!

Ji Qingqing held the frisbee. “Si Si!”

Si Si turned back to look and Ji Qingqing threw the frisbee towards the sky. However, Si Si remained at the same spot with its head raised as it watched the flying frisbee in the air. Then it turned its head to Aunt Pei and continued to act adorably.

Ji Qingqing got slightly miffed and lightly smacked its butt. “You ungrateful little puppy!”

Although she said it that way, she still took a beef cube and put it at Si Si’s mouth. When it comes to food, Si Si obviously won’t reject Ji Qingqing’s goodwill. With a sweep of its tongue, the beef cube entered its mouth.

“Si Si, go fetch that frisbee, go!” As if it understood what Aunt Pei said, Si Si wagged its tail and ran towards the direction of the frisbee.
