At the same time, Lu Lixing opened his eyes. He tilted his head and looked at her.

Taken aback, Ji Qingqing quickly rolled off from the side of the bed.

Lu Lixing took a deep breath. He opened his eyes and got out of bed.

Remembering the night before when he sneaked into the room to mooch the bed with her, Lu Lixing sighed.

What a failure!

As the two of them were living in a suite with two bedrooms, there was only one bathroom. Ji Qingqing escaped into the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash up. Meanwhile, Lu Lixing returned to his room to change his clothes.

When Ji Qingqing finished washing up, she spotted Lu Lixing walking out from the room. It was early in the morning. He was dressed in a suit with his straight pants accenting his two long legs and was raising his hand to adjust his tie. He looked so formal that it seemed like he was about to attend some important meeting.

Ji Qingqing looked down at the pajamas she was wearing. Compared to Lu Lixing’s immaculate suit, she did seem to be a little ‘sloppily dressed.’

After returning to her room, Ji Qingqing changed out of her pajamas and tidied her hair, aiming to make herself look more presentable. However, as she didn’t sleep well last night, the dark eye circles below her eyes could be faintly seen. She thought for a bit and applied some light makeup. The makeup wasn’t heavy, but at the very least it could cover up that pale white complexion of hers from sleeping poorly last night.

It’s all Lu Lixing’s fault for freeloading her bed in the middle of the night. If not, she wouldn’t have ended up not sleeping well the entire night!

Having finished breakfast, two members from the production crew knocked on Ji Qingqing and Lu Lixing’s door to deliver breakfast to them. They also informed them that Director Wang and the cameraman would be coming in later.

Shortly after Ji Qingqing and Lu Lixing started their breakfast, Director Wang arrived. A couple of staff members were following behind him and they began turning on all the cameras in the room.

After the exchanges of formalities among several people, there wasn’t much to say. Before heading off, Director Wang smiled. “I wish the two of you a happy five days of holiday.”

After Director Wang left, besides the filming crew, the two of them were the only ones left in the room.

Ji Qingqing put on an act and sat on the sofa, facing Lu Lixing. “Hello, Mr. Lu, I’m Ji Qingqing. I’m very honored to be your partner today.”

Lu Lixing lifted his brow and looked at Ji Qingqing. “What did you just call me?”

Oh, right.

They were supposed to be a fake couple today.

Ji Qingqing wore a polite smile on her face. “Mr. Lu, you must be kidding.”

Lu Lixing’s brow slightly furrowed. No matter how he looked at it, this distant attitude of Ji Qingqing just made him feel irritated.

Other people were acting as a fake couple while they, on the other hand, were acting like strangers.

The two of them sat on the sofa and looked towards the camera in tacit agreement.

However, at the exact moment both of their faces appeared on the screen, the fans that had been awaiting the program for a long while began spamming comments on the live-stream channel.

In order to raise the popularity of the program, Director Wang had partnered with a live-streaming platform and live-streamed the five groups of celebs on separate channels. The audience could freely choose the live-stream they wanted to watch, and of course, after the live-stream, the production crew would release the official cuts.

Amongst the five live-stream rooms, the one with the most popularity would be Gu Feifan and Qiao An’s group. After all, there were the drama fans who were tuning in just to see the two of them have a happy ending together in the program. As for the room with the lowest popularity, it was Shen Weiwei and Gu Shaoyu’s group.
