The owner of the pharmacy cracked open the firmly shut doors and reprimanded the doorkeeper.

“Let her in.”

He liked that. Demus gladly caught her and pulled her closer to his side.

“Hereafter, all future supplies of the new medicine shall be given to her.”

The pharmacy owner immediately said yes. It was Liv who was surprised. Demus had merely sent her a message to come to Hyslop without offering any explanations, and it was only now that he clarified the circumstances to her.

“It is the new medicine from Dominian. I can’t accompany you all the time, so you’ll have to take it yourself.”
