Odalisque - Chapter 214
“Ahh!”
The moan she’d been holding back escaped her lips, and then the grip on her nape was gone, replaced by a vicious grip on her chin.
Grabbing her chin, Demus tilted her head to the side and kissed her ferociously as though he were going to eat her. He sucked and nibbled at her flesh, making it even more difficult for Liv due to her uncomfortable position.
Meanwhile, his lower half dutifully slammed into her again and again. The repeated thrusts caused her heels to lift and her thighs to quiver, but Demus didn’t relent.
His lips trailed across her cheek, then moved to her ear and the side of her neck. The sound of his breathing tickled Liv’s ear.
His breathing was clearly tinged with arousal.
In the past, this behavior from Demus had made Liv’s heart flutter whenever they’d made love and made her feel smug inwardly.
This man only gets horny for me, only gets loose in my presence.
A sense of superiority and expectancy that she couldn’t show to anyone else. The excitement that maybe she could get closer to him. How she had stacked those feelings up so hastily and then crashed down.
Although she was abuzz with arousal, out of habit, she was also overcome by a sense of dejection and lethargy. Liv shook her head, trying to shake off her emotions.
Had Demus taken that as a rejection?
The hand holding her waist tightened. His penis slipped out, and her body was spun around in an instant. When she lifted her heavy eyelids, she saw the man’s flushed face.
Pulling at her waist, he bent his head as if to kiss her. Liv looked down, struggling to avoid his lips.
“Ha.”
A cold sneer left Demus’ lips.
Their bodies were still hot, the air was still humid, and their breathing was still unsteady, but all it took was one sneer from Demus to send a chill through the air between them.
“Are you in a position to deny me?”
Of course not. Neither did Liv’s refusal carry any weight. In this situation, it meant nothing.
“… Regardless of how I react, you can hold me until you release all of your anger, my Lord.”
Just like a moment ago, when you’ve fucked me face down like a dog.
Liv couldn’t tell if he had caught the omitted afterthought. Liv kept her eyes on the floor, unable to muster up the courage to meet his fierce gaze. The floor, with various broken and strewn objects, was just like her heart.
“Regardless of how you react?”
She could hear Demus muttering to himself. Just by the sound of his voice, she could picture the look on his face right now.
“Do you want to be treated like a prostitute that badly?”
Liv’s lips, which had been firmly closed, quivered.
“Surely you must be an experienced prostitute, seeing how easily you stab me in the back after paying so much.”
It was better to be swept away in pleasure and not think about anything than to be verbally assaulted like this. Biting down hard on her lower lip, Liv fought back her tears as a torrent of unrefined insults rained down on her head.
“The Eleanor’s brat said he helped you. Did you act this way to him, too? He seems like the kind of idiot who would give his heart in exchange for one good sex.”
“I’m—”
“I guess it’s easy since you’ve done it before. However, if you’re a prostitute, you should know how to cater to your customers.”
Liv felt her breath catch in her throat as Demus continued.
“Or do I have to pay you extra to humble this useless pride of yours?”
Liv’s clenched jaw twitched. In all the countless times she had slept with him, she had never been treated so cruelly and coldly. Even in the moments when she felt wretched, the weary sex didn’t make her feel this degraded.
In the first place, the moment she ran away from Demus, she had forfeited even the bare minimum kindness he’d offered her with her own hands.
Black despair pooled beneath her feet. She felt as if the feelings she’d kept to herself, hidden beneath her resignation and evasion, had been forcibly drawn out and shattered.
“Why are you silent now? I guess your conscience is pricked, huh?”
Demus mocked sharply before grabbing Liv’s chin and tilting it up. Demus, his face stone cold, was about to continue, but his mouth fell shut again when his eyes locked with Liv’s.
Her face was flushed red, damp and a mess. Demus could easily recognize that it was not just the afterglow of their intense lovemaking just moments ago.
Liv was in no condition to hide her emotions. The shards of her shattered heart were clawing at her insides, making it hard enough to bear.
“You…”
Demus’ strong grip loosened slightly. The man’s thumb stroked across Liv’s damp cheek.
“I don’t know why you’re provoking me when you are this timid.”
He sounded as though he really didn’t understand, maybe even confused.
“You can’t even handle it.”
It sounded like he was rebuking her for her own stupidity, which made Liv blow out a tired breath.
A man who could turn her whole life upside down and destroy it. She was so captivated that she was almost tempted to kneel at his feet and give him her life. And it was already happening.
