Rothgarr snorted suddenly.

No wonder the Holy Son came to “visit” him at night. He ignored him, and the other party also left, but not before leaving something behind.

Facing the demon’s seemingly malicious, joking gaze, Anna tried to control the muscles on her face, which caused her expression to be very stiff. She pointed to the table and said, “Is lunch still being eaten there?”

The fire that Rothgarr set this time was different from the one that burned Bobby to death. When Bobby was burned to death, Rothgarr released control of the fire, so the flames were just ordinary fires, which could not be easily controlled and put out. But this time, during the whole process of burning the jewels, he had controlled the fire, so the table was fine. Only the jewels were gone, leaving piles of ashes.

“Why not?” Rothgarr asked rhetorically. A gust of wind started out of nowhere, and a tiny tornado engulfed the ashes on the table, opened the windows, and scooped them outside.

Anna thought that the humanoid vacuum cleaner demon was quite efficient. She walked over in silence and took out the food in the food box and set it on the table. She also secretly touched the tabletop; the ash  was really gone.

Rothgarr sat down at the table, looking at Anna. He was in a very good mood. His eyes followed her movements, and after a short time, he asked her, “You regret not accepting them?”

Anna took the last dish out and set it down. She put the food container on the ground, and answered unambiguously: “No.”
