Before going to bed, Anna still tied Abel to the point where he could not move before falling asleep with peace of mind.

The next day, after setting Abel free, Anna went to the Mage Association. The first thing she had to do today was to go to the logistics department to buy a mage robe.

The logistics department was on the fourth floor of the Association Affairs building. After Anna went there, she didn’t look at the “decorated” mage robes, but simply bought a plain mage robe for a gold coin.

This type of mage robe was made of a special flax plant with natural water element properties. It had relatively strong hydrophobicity and was waterproof, dustproof, and oil-proof to a certain extent. However, if attacked, this defense effect was only slightly better than not wearing one.

Rothgarr didn’t think with only one day of not keeping an eye on Anna that there would be a new situation to deal with. Plus, Natalie didn’t mention this to him before.

He couldn’t help sneering. He really wanted to see who would dare steal his person!

When Anna wanted to wave good morning to the demon, the demon had already turned his head away. She thought it was a little strange, and looked at him when she sat down in her seat. She whispered, “Raymond, did you feel unwell yesterday? If you don’t feel well today, you can rest for a few days before coming back.”

Rothgarr glanced at her coldly: “How dare I rest for a few days? Two days later, I’m afraid my things will be taken away by others!”

Anna felt that the demon’s tone was particularly aggressive today, and she didn’t know why he was angry. She didn’t do anything; maybe it wasn’t her that he was angry with, he was just taking it out on her?

But… the “my things” in his mouth, in the eyes of an insider like her, probably was referring to her soul, right?

The demon knew about Abel’s existence? Didn’t seem like it.

The demon thought she was in contact with other men while playing with him? But the problem was she wasn’t…

When thinking of this, Anna thought of the brief contact and conversation with Leon at noon yesterday, and also thought of doing extractions with Mage Dawkins all afternoon yesterday——However, she only spoke a few words to Leon, and Mage Dawkins definitely was not the object of the demon’s jealousy.

Of course, Natalie also noticed Anna’s new robe, but seeing that Anna and Mage Raymond seemed to be arguing, it was not good for her to interrupt now, so she could only watch silently.

“Why do you say so?” Anna patiently looked at the demon and asked. Her expression showed confusion, but she was actually complaining in her heart. This demon was too troublesome…

Rothgarr saw that Anna was still asking him in a puzzled way, and his heart was full of anger. He snorted coldly but ignored her inquiry. He picked up a book and made a gesture of not wanting to talk to her.

Anna thought for a while, but didn’t continue to ask. She thought that the demon would sooner or later tell why he was angry; he didn’t seem like someone who could hold back for a long time.

Because tonight was Natalie’s birthday party, Anna wanted to prepare notes for her as a gift. She planned to perfect the notes she wrote from reading the books on Leon’s book list before, to give to Natalie.

She was already familiar with the books on that book list, so it was useless to keep these notes. If she really wanted to review them, she could always borrow from Natalie.

Natalie saw that Mage Raymond and Anna ended their inexplicable quarrel and were separately reading their books, but seeing that Mage Raymond’s face did not look so good, she didn’t dare to speak up lest she said something that displeased him. Instead, she thought about it and wrote a small note, quietly handing it to Anna.

Anna took it and saw a small note that read: Anna, you look good in mage robes, it gives the impression that you are a very powerful high-level mage!

Anna couldn’t help laughing. Fine feathers make fine birds. The tailor makes the man. Fine clothes make the man. Clothes can clearly enhance one’s beauty and temperament!
