While the two were talking, the New Year’s countdown was just around the corner. Everyone looked up at the electronic display, and it was the same for both of them.

Taekyung’s eyes shook at the word family that came out of So-young’s mouth. She couldn’t fully read the complex emotions on his face, but vaguely understood how he felt.
