It was a night with moonlight scattered all through the hazy water. Even though she waited all day, there was no sign of any abnormalities happening at all, which made her sit down before she started to doze off. And then, she was put to bed by someone late at night.

Julia, who had fallen into a light sleep, eventually woke up to a rustling sound right next to her. The surrounding was all dark, but the hair that fluttered on the bed had been even darker. In fact, even a single ray of moonlight was being completely absorbed in.

Although it might have not been known to anyone else, it was actually a very familiar sight to Julia. She then lifted her heavy eyelids, albeit barely.

“Um, why did I wake up so early…?”

Bael had possessed an immense magical power which was so great that no one in the Demon Realm could ever match it. However, the excessive powerful force continued to expand inside his body and eventually drove him into such terrible pain.

Bael was finally able to sleep comfortably after he had met Julia, who had been gifted with resistance magic. He clung to sleep obsessively as if it was to compensate for the pain of long periods of insomnia. It was utterly impossible for him to fall asleep and wake up just like how he did now even if it had been for only a few hours.

“Bael?”

His breathing sounded very heavy as it echoed through the silence. Julia fumbled around on the bed since it was rather hard to see. Then, his body felt freezing at the touch of her fingertips.

“Bael, are you okay?”

Julia became a little scared. In this lake, there were remnants of a past that continued to exist, which he regarded as a nightmare. Or, in other words, the devilism that had melted in layers to the point where a window would suddenly pop up might have broken through the magic resistance and tormented him after all.

She quickly looked around the table to turn on the light, but this was not at the nest and there had been nothing at all except for the bed. Meanwhile, as she saw that Bael had been tossing and turning his body as if he was struggling, Julia began to bite on her lips nervously.

The dreary red moonlight was illuminating all over Bael’s naked body. Julia, who had lowered her head to get a check on his breathing, got instantly distracted by the clearly curved muscles that were just akin to sculptures themselves.

The dangerous and seductive man’s body immediately shook with excitement at the mere touch of her hand. He even moved his waist slowly as if it was asking for more caresses.

As she looked at that very scene, Julia managed to push away her remaining vague hesitation. For now, freeing him from pain was much more important than anything else. She then placed her hand upon Bael’s cheek before she hesitantly lowered her head.

“It’s okay. I won’t leave you to get hurt all alone.”

Her lips parted slightly and she tilted her head at an angle in order to meet his. It felt like someone behind her was already screaming for her to get off at once, but Julia quickly shook those thoughts right away.

A light and soft kiss softly landed upon Bael’s dry lips. She started to wonder if this wasn’t enough, so she pressed her lips against his a few more times after that. She had already done worse than this with Bael several times before and Julia felt like her heart would eventually burst with just this kind of a kiss from herself.

Bael’s tremors began to subside little by little as if the effect of her resistance magic was evident even with that brief contact. Julia, who felt relieved somehow, was just about to raise her head once again.

“Heup…!”

The nape of her neck was suddenly pulled along with strong force. Before she had any chance to escape, Bael’s tongue had shoved in roughly. He attacked so fiercely that she couldn’t even take a single breath. He eventually pressed down on the back of her head with the intention of swallowing her whole.

The position of the two of them naturally changed in return. Bael was now sitting on top of Julia while grabbing her neck in satisfaction. Then, he pressed their lips together once again.

“Ahht, wait!”

It was so difficult when his tongue had roughly explored the inside of her tight mouth. Julia, who was already out of breath, began to shake her head with much difficulty. Nevertheless, Bael’s persistence still did not let her go at all.

This was not Bael.

Julia stopped her movements as she had forgotten about her resistance. A monster in the shape of Bael was now pressing his forehead against hers as if to show off. His eyes, as shiny as those minerals, were focused only on herself.

Julia’s heart instantly plunged into the pitch-black abyss. She had only returned to reality a step late and started struggling like crazy in response.

“Bael, Bael!”

“You can never escape.”
