The Demons In the Reverse Harem Game Are Obsessed With Me - Chapter 89.2
At that moment, the monster’s head instantly snapped back. The pressure on Julia’s wrist suddenly disappeared and the monster, now sprawled under the bed, roared like an enraged beast.
“Do you think that you can defy me?!”
“…”
“You are nothing more than a mere part of me. It would be foolish of you to think that you are truly free just because I was gone for a moment!”
Julia, who could barely lift her head, looked down at the monster that was writhing alone on the floor. Amongst the disheveled black hair, the eyes that appeared briefly emitted a faint red glow.
“Bael, Bael!”
It was undoubtedly Bael. He was fighting with Beelzebub to regain control of his own body. The wings on his back spread out massively like it was actually exploding. In the midst of the fluttering jet-black feathers, an unknown entity shouted with a hoarse voice all of a sudden.
“Don’t come!”
“Can’t you come here now?!”
“Get out of here! Right this instant!”
“If you interfere, I’ll kill him!”
Julia, who had been staggering backwards, stopped at once. She didn’t know what kind of existence this shadow monster called Beelzebub was. But if Bael, himself, had already lost his body, it would then be capable of throwing her into the depths of the lake.
‘He might really die. Bael… Just for the sake of protecting someone like me.’
With her tattered fingers, she then tugged on the bowstring. Although she felt the tearing pain from her twisted bones and joints, she simply ignored it. Even if she couldn’t use her hand forever, she still had to save him right now.
“Command, Frozen Arrow.”
As she chanted the command, the surrounding scenery reversed in an instant. A magical circle shone faintly as it appeared under the monster that continued struggling on the floor.
The monster’s gaze that was looking up at Julia briefly had ultimately turned red. As if he was determined to not move no matter what, he then drove his long claws deep into the floor.
Shortly after, a sharp arrow-shaped effect poured down all over his head just like a snowstorm.

Belzebub—or Bael, actually—twisted his body in apparent agony. The supple muscles on his back writhed as if it was enduring pain. However, the attack rate was not significantly affected as she had initially expected.
Frustrated by both of the failed attempts to use the skill earlier as well as the remaining low health due to her using the skill consecutively just now, Julia currently had little stamina left. She could still hold on presently, but at this rate, it was clear that she would definitely collapse before Beelzebub himself.
“After dealing with this damned bastard, it’ll be your turn next.”
As if he was ready to rush at her as soon as he pulled out his claws that got embedded in the floor, the purple glow that had been scanning her from below appeared absolutely chilling.
The moment Belzebub’s gaze had touched upon her twisted wrist, Julia, who was completely overwhelmed by fear, unknowingly used the skill once again.
“Fro-frozen Arrow.”

The same attack as before eventually went through, but the attack rate was even lower. Meanwhile, Julia’s stamina, having used the skill three times in a row by now, had already dropped even below half.
Belzebub could sense her confusion and his monstrous eyes gleamed with sheer amusement.
“Kukukuku.”
Julia’s mind went blank straight away. She didn’t even have the chance to hope for someone to even come to her rescue. The scene of a monster that began ripping up her throat was playing vividly in her mind.
In her imagination, she had such lifeless eyes like a fish that got pulled out of the water. She was already dying amidst all the stagnant blood.
“Ku-ugh, gasp! Hooh…!”
Her mind that was continuously sinking into the depths of a gruesome nightmare eventually snapped back to reality. The monster was still struggling to pull out its claws, but it suddenly stopped its movements and let out a pained groan. It writhed on the floor like a snake while its body contorted in response.
Jet-black strands of hair fluttered over his face. Although she couldn’t see the color of the monster’s eyes, Julia, who was somehow driven by some intuition, cautiously took a step forward.
“Is that you?”
“…”
“I’m, I’m sorry that I attacked you. I was terrified that the monster would actually kill Bael if I didn’t. No, actually, I was just terribly scared. Huuh, I’m sorry. I’m really sorry. Did it hurt a lot?”
She rambled on about every sort of excuse as soon as they came to her mind. Eventually, all she could ever say was that she had truly been sorry. The night ultimately echoed with the sound of Bael writhing in pain as well as Julia’s choked breath.
Then, Bael, seemingly exhausted, eventually collapsed on the floor. His frail appearance had somehow looked precarious, almost as if he was on the brink of losing consciousness. As she was unable to bear it anymore, Julia soon collapsed beside him too. She slowly pressed her tear-soaked cheek against his cold, firm back.
His skin trembled slightly upon that direct contact.
“…Help me. I can’t move.”
“How can I help you? I’ll do anything.”
Julia first thought of Bael’s claws that were firmly embedded in the ground. It had been such a hasty measure to block Beelzebub’s movements as he was rushing towards her.
However, Julia couldn’t say anything more than that. All ten of his claws had been pulled out. Fingers with blunt ends and unfamiliar shapes were all soaked in dark red blood. It had been so gruesome that it was clearly nauseating to look at.
