The tension was relieved and I was hungry. My stomach rumbled like thunder. Merson, of course, felt the cries of the beggars in my stomach.

We arrived at the party venue in no time. The upbeat music set the mood. The villagers took a seat between the tables and danced in circles to the music.

A flower path on the floor and a pretty light fixture on top of his head brightened the surroundings. It was like a scene from a fairy tale. While the villagers danced again with excitement, I filled my stomach while examining the food on the table.

“Let’s go eat that fruit over there.”

Merson took the food with a fork and gave it to his back, and I just moved my mouth and ate it. I was full after trying all the food at least three times.

At that moment, Uncle Grans’s performance changed unusually. Like announcing today’s 1st place is…..?! Tension circulated with a sound effect.

When the low-pitched music suddenly became louder and became a signal, Merson snapped his fingers with a ‘tak!’. Over the high sky, the stars disappeared, and colorful fireworks fell on it.

The village chief’s eyes seemed to pop out. Even the villagers cheered and couldn’t take their eyes off the sky.

With one more bounce, the flower-shaped fireworks that Grandma Lette had emphasized so much lit up the sky. I could hear Grandma Lette’s laughter like a girl. Uncle Grans also stopped playing for a moment and looked at the flames of five colors falling over his face.

“Pretty.”

Peace, happiness.

It was a night where these two words fit very well. I hugged Merson deeply. That precious firework never stopped because of Merson.

The music rang again, and the villagers enjoyed the fireworks and enjoyed today’s party. I was the first to leave the party after confirming that the smile did not leave the village chief’s face. It’s because I’ve used up all my stamina for the past few days to find the mulcho, and I’m exhausted.
