It was already nine o’clock.  According to her schedule, it was more than enough time to get home.

“Still hasn’t come?”

He didn’t know if Rosetta would, but the baron wouldn’t do this without a word. That was the common thought of everyone, not just Leonard.

Just then, a servant came running quickly and shouted in an urgent voice.

“Sir, it is said that the lady has not come to the jewellery store.”

“Is she still in the studio?”

“That…  It has been more than two hours since she departed from the studio.”

Lanoa, who jumped up from his seat at the servant’s voice, screamed.

“Why are you saying that now!”

Two hours ago, it was clear something had happened.

‘Is this the empress’s ploy again?’

Lanoa, who was chewing on his parched lips, came to his senses when Leonard tapped his shoulder. Leonard  asked after rearranging the sword hanging from his waist. “Are there two roads to the studio?”

“Uh, there’s a newly opened road and a mountain road that has now been abandoned.”

“Then you go on the paved road, and I’ll go on the mountain road.”

The cool-headed and rational, Leonard  didn’t panic like Lanoa. He just found the best and rational alternative and suggested the way forward.

Lanoa was the only one who became too agitated. Leonard suppressed the occasional burst of anxiety.

“Calm down. You know that Rosetta is not an easy target.”

“I know, I know…….”

The agitation slowly subsided when I saw Leonard’s calm lake-like eyes.

However, Sihael’s words bothered him.

Leonard, who roughly took the crystal ball from the breathless servant’s hand, grabbed the crystal ball with all his might.

After closing the bathroom door, I carefully wiped off the dripping water and rolled my eyes.

‘Why is no one here?’

She said she would be waiting, but where did she go? Standing in front of the bathroom, I carefully stepped out.

I sat in front of the dressing table and squeezed out my hair with a towel, moving as carefully as possible so that the water wouldn’t fall off.

The face in the mirror was covered with wounds.
