Betty had been an extra character for 10 years. Until all of a sudden, she found the young dark villain that the heroine of the novel should have saved.
In these types of novels, the most normal thing to do is to help someone in need – whether it’s the female lead, male lead, or the villain.
She was so sure that that was how the original story went, but since it had already happened, she tried her best to avoid death and the twisted mind of the dark villain.
But what did the heroine say to him in the original story?
“I like the Duke just the way he is.”
The villainous man came to her in the middle of the night in a bloody state.
“You said you like me the way I am. I love you, too. You won’t ever leave me, will you?”
Ugh, you’re hopeless.
Instead of saving the villain, she decided to throw the earthen pot at him and ran away as fast as she could.
“You’re such a cold-blooded woman!”
“Where else are you going to disappear to and never come back?”
The Duke said, “Mark my words. No matter where you hide in this damned empire, I will certainly find you.”
He was not being scary as he said this. On the contrary, he was threatened her with a pleading and desperate face.
