I Left the Time-limited Villainous Duke Without Saving Him - Chapter 35.2
“Why are you all naked!”
“I don’t wear anything at all when I go to bed!”
“Uwaaaaaaaa!”
“You came in on your own!”
“Aaaaaahhkk!”
I screamed and ran through the dark hallway until I reached my room. It didn’t take as long as I thought, and it wasn’t scary.
I turned on the wall lamp and lay down to read a book, but I heard another scratch, scratch, scratch. I checked the source of the sound.
It was Lesser who was scratching its claws under the bed.

[“Dear Miss Christine.
In this season when dry leaves fall from the cold wind, how is Miss Christine? Unfortunately, I ended up catching a cold from the whims of winter.
I’ve been waiting for our meeting, but I’m more afraid of passing the disease on to Miss Christine. When spring arrives, when new shoots sprout from dry tree branches, this sickness will also subside.
Until then, take care of yourself and see you at school.
Vicky, who will always love you.”]
‘Blah blah blah blah blah blah.’
Christine looked down coldly at the letter, which smelled of faint freesia. To put it bluntly, it meant that she wanted to cancel the tea party at Mattia’s mansion.
However, Christine was well aware of how well Lady Victoria was when she mentioned that she was having a cold. It was said that she was so fine that she had a separate tea party with young girls her age, excluding Christine.
“Miss, what happened to Lady Victoria today…… ”
“Laura.”
Laura, who was dressing Christine’s hair, immediately became hesitant in the unusual tone. She was distracted by the headdress and failed to understand her master’s displeasure of her mistress.
“Yes, yes? Miss. Did you call me?”
“Are you so curious about what Vicky wrote to me?”
“No, no. I just want to hear Miss’ pretty voice so…I was presumptuous…….”
“You know it’s presumptuous.”
“It’s so arrogant, haha. I will correct it.”
“I just wanted you to know, from now on, act wisely.”
“Yes, I’m sorry.”
Christine put the letter stationery in the jewelry box with a calm face. Another letter was added to the letters from her close friend, Lady Victoria.
Laura straightened the comb and let out a sigh of relief without her master’s knowledge.
“But, Laura.”
“Yes?”
“What is that outfit? You wanted to be my ladies’ maid.”
“Yes? What…….”
Laura, one of the more good looking ladies’ maids, took a quick look at her attire. When she was standing in front of Christine, she checked it several times, but what was Christine talking about…….
Before she could stop her doubts, Laura’s necklace was ripped off along with the front of her dress.
Christine grabbed Laura’s necklace and threw it in her face. The sharp end of the medallion brushed the maid’s cheek, creating a red line.
“When you enter my room, you have to dress prettily. Do you really have to ruin my mood by coming here wearing ragged clothes like a beggar?”
“I’m sorry, Miss.”
Laura could not resist the child who was much smaller than her and squatted on the floor. Soon, a chilling order fell over her head.
“I’ll give you 10 minutes, so go change.”
“Yes, yes!”
As the ladies maid almost crawled out of the room, Christine lost her temper in earnest. She swept across the dressing table, and there was a loud and pleasant rupture.
But the pleasure was short-lived.
Her nose was pricked by the mixture of cosmetic water and perfume leaking from the broken glass bottle. It made her feel even more offended by that.
Christine knew everything.
She knows why Victoria had called all of her friends aside from Christine.
Victoria hated Betty even though it was the first time she saw her at the Flower Fairy Ball. It was too obvious.
Lady Victoria, who had a strong sense of self-esteem, liked people who were dignified and stately like her, but Betty was short and skinny and looked servile. On top of that, she even flirts around high-status boys.
Victoria’s dislike of Betty was so natural that Christine didn’t have to do anything about it.
However.
– That’s her, right? That…… Betty.
– I understand how Lady feel. How surprised you must have been to see that child begging the Duke to go home.
– I will choose that child as the king of flowers this year!
– What? Vicky, are you insane?
When Betty and Duke Janus leave the common room her best friend, Victoria, changed her mind like flipping the palm of her hand and said she loves Christine!
– What do you guys think?
– Oh, I really think it would be nice to elect Miss Betty as the king of flowers.
– I heard that red hair is in fashion these days?
They’re like parrots that just repeat exactly what Victoria says!
If Victoria told them to die, they’d throw themselves into a lake with a face full of pretense, saying ‘Oh my, I really think I’d better die’ or ‘I heard that’s popular these days?’
But Victoria throws tea party with only such flatterers, excluding Christine, her true friend! It must be because Victoria’s older sister, Veronica, invited Betty to the Duke’s residence!
She’s going to drag all her courtiers along and steal Betty from her older sister!
“Aaaaahh! You rat!”
That vulgar freckles from walking under the scorching sun all day, and frizzy-looking curly hair that hadn’t been carefully applied with balm. The ugly hands, bruised and chapped here and there from doing all sorts of chores, seemed to be laughing at Christine.
The value of her jade-like skin, her rich, silky blonde hair and soft hands, which she had carefully cared for for 12 years, was washed away in just a few days.
That’s so unfair.
Christine threw Laura’s dropped comb and broke the vanity mirror.
She was enjoying a bit of relief at the sharp sound that pierced her ears, when someone carefully knocked on the door.
