Little Terrified Bun - Chapter 63

Wei Zhe has portrayed a scene of Wei He falling into his trap most vividly –  demand an exorbitant price, then bargain heatedly.

He first set a price that the opponent wouldn’t accept, then proposed a compromise to make the other person think that they had gotten an advantage; deal made.

As Wei He acknowledged his demise, he waved in annoyance, signaling Wei Zhe to leave immediately. Although he did anticipate an outstanding son, if the son was totally out of control and always worked against him, how could he develop any fondness?

Wei Zhe didn’t mind his attitude. As long as he gained his set profit through negotiation, everything was fine.

“Oh right! Shouldn’t Wei Min be taken care of? He’s…too irritating for my eyes.” Wei Zhe narrowed his dark eyes, radiating danger.

“Ze.” Wei He glanced over at him with shock. “I thought you would let him go because of his age. A six year old, weak as a sparrow, I can kill him with a finger.”

Wei Zhe didn’t continue on Wei He’s words, he only narrowed his eyes and replied, “I don’t care how you handle him, but I want him to be out of my sight forever.”

“Rest assured.” Wei He laughed casually, his eyes full of indifference.

As Wei Zhe took his exit around the stairs, he met Wei Min whom he hadn’t seen in so long. Wei Min’s slightly longer hair laid messily in front of his eyes. He shivered and stepped back, while calling out ‘Big Brother’ with fear. Wei Zhe’s feet paused for a second, then he marched forward without any pause as if Wei Min wasn’t there.

The Wei Min who had been left behind became even more gloomy, without any signs of his previous active and lovely self.

Wei Zhe returned to the apartment. The sunshine was just right, a trending historical drama was playing on the TV, and Wei Jing’s small body was covered with a fuzzy blanket on the soft sofa. His white face had turned pink from the heater, and his curly and dense eyelashes made one unable to help wanting to touch them.

In fact, Wei Zhe did touch them.

First the eyes, then the eyelashes, then moving down to the high bridged nose, Wei Jing’s small crimson colored lip even had some liquid on it. Wei Zhe breathed so softly, afraid that he would wake the child in deep sleep.

The fatigue when he countered Wei He disappeared; Wei Zhe let out a soft laugh from his throat, his heart became fully softened.

He didn’t expect things to go this smoothly.

Xu Jiahui’s father Xu Jiaming was acquainted with the Ye family’s next heir, and last lifetime, after Wei Zhe took control of the Wei family, he studied all the business details of that family very well. This was not only intended to teach Wei He a lesson, but also to let him know that Wei Zhe had a good network.

After Wei Zhe got in touch with the Ye family, he revealed one of the business contracts to the Ye family without hesitation. Not only was the Ye family able to take over the contract successfully, Wei Zhe was also able to earn a tip of five million for his hard work.

A business of thirty million wasn’t a big deal to the Ye family. What was important was that they were able to crush the Wei family with this incident! Ever since the merciless Wei He took control of the Wei family, the Ye family had always fallen behind. They felt extremely aggrieved!

Now that they snatched something from the Wei family……although it was achieved through the help of someone from the Wei family, they were still pleased with the result.

From now on, there would only be the two of them.

When Wei Jing woke up, he saw his Big brother with his back on the sofa, eyes closed, already falling asleep.

Mommy! How could his Big brother fall asleep on the sofa, that position was so uncomfortable. The child wanted to wake up his big brother and tell him to go sleep in his bedroom, but on the other hand, Wei Jing was afraid to wake him up. The child hesitated, his delicate face furrowed into a ball.

He got off the sofa softly and placed the blanket on Wei Zhe’s body. Wanting his big brother to lay down on the sofa to sleep, he then moved the body meticulously.

With his experience, he concluded that the sofa was soft and elastic, very fitting for sleep! He would even give it a 10 out of 10.

Wei Zhe was a light sleeper, and woke up as soon as Wei Jing tried to move him. After rubbing his eyes, he looked up at the clock. “It’s already four o’clock, what do you want to eat? Let’s dine out for now. Big Brother will find a chef later on and you can ask him to cook whatever you want to eat.”

The apartment that Wei Zhe bought was very spacious, with a lobby, a kitchen, two bathrooms, three bedrooms, and a humongous balcony. It was more than enough for two people to live in.

But hiring a chef? Where would the chef live?

“Silly.” Wei Zhe flicked his younger brother’s forehead. Everything on his mind was revealed in his face. What was the child thinking? “Of course we won’t hire a permanent servant who lives in our house, we will only hire a temporary worker!” Wei Zhe lowered his eyes and stared at the child unwaveringly with his dark eyes. “This is our house. Let’s not let anyone else live here aside from us, okay?”

Wei Jing froze for a while, then suddenly showed a big and bright smile on his face, as bright as today’s sunshine.

“Okay.”

A home that belongs to them alone.

His heart warmed up just thinking about it.
