It was only after Ruan Zhiyin heard Cheng Yuelin’s words did she remember that her birthday was at the end of the month.

Children in the orphanage generally were not sure about their birthdays, so the Orphanage director would normally set the day the child arrived as their birthday.

Ruan Zhiyin arrived on the 26th of May, the date her wedding was held.

Other than Gu Linlang no one knew that that was the day she used to hold her birthday on.

As for the birthday Ruan Zhiyin had after returning to the Ruan family, it was at the end of august.

She and Cheng Yuelin had been ‘married’ for 5 months.

Glancing at the necklace in her hand, Ruan Zhiyin smiled and said, “So this is my birthday present?”

The man shook his head and said, “No, just treat it as a… small gift.”

It was just because he was reminded of her when he saw the necklace. If she wore this necklace it would definitely look good.

As for her birthday gift… naturally there would be something else.

Hearing this, Ruan Zhiyin nodded and quietly replied, “Okay.”

“Hm?” Cheng Yuelin looked at her.

“I said let’s go on a honeymoon, okay?”

The man’s eyebrows moved slightly and the corners of his lips raised.

Due to taking the end of the month as vacation, Ruan Zhiyin organized all her current work and prepared to resolve all important matters before her vacation.

Hence, she became extremely busy.

Cheng Lang’s adoption process was rather complicated, the day she was finally able to send him abroad was finally set as the day before Ruan Zhiyin and Cheng Yuelin’s honeymoon vacation.

Her busy days at work flew by and in the blink of an eye it was the weekend again.

Ruan Zhiyin squeezed out some time to attend Zhou Hongfei and Miss Jiang’s wedding.

Just as she was about to leave the house, Cheng Yuelin was leaning against the door and he asked her again, “You really do not need me to accompany you?”

Ruan Zhiyin paused and comforted him. “Stay at home and take care of Cheng Lang, besides you know… Linlang is also going alone, I’ll be accompanying her.”

Ruan Zhiyin had only mentioned it casually last time, since Cheng Yuelin had been meeting with people in the study for the past few weekends, she did not expect him to be free, but it was indeed rare for him to have free time.

But due to the relationship between Fang Weirui and Jiang Anzheng, Gu Linlang could not ask her husband to go with her. Ruan Zhiyin thought for a while and persuaded Cheng Yuelin to stay home.

When the man heard this, he looked at her quietly.

Then he looked down and said, “I’ll be waiting for you at home.”

His voice was calm and gentle.

The wedding was held in a church.

It was a small wedding and they had only invited a few relatives and friends.

This church was near C University and its architecture had an ageless beauty, rumor had it that this was the place the bride and groom had fallen in love.

The wedding ceremony was simple and sweet.

Miss Jiang’s father did not come and her uncle played the role of her father. He held Miss Jiang’s hand and gently passed it into Zhou Hongfei’s hands.

The bride was wearing a white wedding dress and her beautiful face was filled with a smile.

Even the quiet and expressionless Zhou Hongfei’s mouth seemed to always have a smile on his lips.

The two newlyweds held hands and looked at each other, read their vows and exchanged their rings in front of everyone.

A talented man and a beautiful woman. A perfect match.

After the ceremony, Ruan Zhiyin and Gu Linlang walked towards the newlyweds who were not far away.

“Sister Linlang, Sister Zhiyin.”

Zhou Hongfei was younger than Gu Linlang by two years and was younger than Ruan Zhiyin by half a year. He had been calling them sisters for more than ten years.

Ruan Zhiyin smiled and picked up a glass of champagne from the table and toasted the new bridge and groom. “Congratulations on your wedding.”

“Thank you, Sister Zhiyin,” Jiang Xueying smiled brightly. “I heard Hongfei say that you helped him a lot in the past.”

Gu Linlang quite liked Jiang Xueying and silently smiled. “He talks too little and is as boring as a wall, he’s lucky that you like him.”

Zhou Hongfei did not argue and he lowered his head and looked at Jiang Xueying. “That’s right.”

Even though they did not have much contact over the years, he was still the younger brother they had grown up together with.

Seeing this, Ruan Zhiyin suddenly felt more relieved.  “If the Director could see your wedding, I’m sure she would be very happy.”

Zhou Hongfei was only a few months old when he was abandoned at the orphanage door. He had been weak since he was young and the Orphanage Director was always worried about him.

Hearing this, Zhou Hongfei looked down again and said, “Yes, in a few days, I will bring Xueying to Xu County.”

The orphanage the three of them had lived at before was in Xu County and Director Cheng was also buried there.

Ruan Zhiyin paused slightly and said a little sadly. “Speaking of which, when the Director passed away, it was fortunate she had you.”

At the time she and Gu Linlang were abroad and only Zhou Hongfei was by the director’s side. Later when she called the orphanage, it was also Zhou Hongfei who picked up.

Zhou Hongfei looked guilty. “I did not do much. In the end, it was all thanks to that person who asked his friend in Jiahong to send the director to the hospital.”

Jiahong was Xu County’s capital, but she had never heard of Qin Jue having any friends in Jiahong.
