Odalisque - Chapter 263
Liv reached out a hand. Her touch across his sweat-glistened chest, abs, and waistline carried unmistakable intent.
Demus willingly gave in to her seduction.

By the time they finally finished with their intense love making, the sun had set.
Liv’s body was creaking from moving so vigorously after a long time. However, the only thing that felt stronger than the dull ache in her body was her hunger. A series of stomach growls echoed out.
“I’ve asked for a quick bite to eat, so hang in there.”
Demus seemed to judge that Liv couldn’t wait until they got back to the mansion to eat dinner. Liv wanted to protest that it wasn’t that bad, but the growl that echoed once more against her will made her give in.
It was a fact that she was hungry, and since he had already given his orders to his hired help, it would be a waste of everyone’s time to take them back.
As they waited for the meal to be brought in by the hired hands, Liv took a look inside the villa.
Technically, it was more of an observation of what Demus was doing here than the villa itself. Demus lay in a relaxed pose, his jaw propped, and he watched Liv silently. He didn’t seem to have any intention of stopping her.
“A little villa doesn’t seem so bad.”
Liv, who had been scanning the space where Demus had been sitting and working earlier, glanced back.
“I can see you wherever you are, so in some ways it’s better.”
The villa had obviously been used for something else, but it seemed that Demus had redefined its purpose in his mind. Liv, who smirked at Demus’ pleased expression, continued the viewing where she had left off.
“You didn’t start today, did you?”
She could tell from the condition of the tools and the piles of papers in the corner that this wasn’t Demus’ first drawing class. With an amused look on her face, Liv flipped through the stack of papers full of unrecognizable lines, one after another. She wondered what on earth had Demus been drawing.
Looking at one sheet alone, she couldn’t make out anything, but when she compared them side by side, she realized that the lines had a purpose.
That it wasn’t drawn with the intention of building up his drawing skills, but with the intention of creating some sort of finished form.
“Seriously, what are you trying to draw?”
“You.”
It was a confident answer, devoid of embarrassment.
Liv involuntarily glanced back at the paper she was holding.
“… Me?”
“Yes.”
So this… combination of circles and squares and squiggles that go here and there is me?
Even for Liv, whose knowledge in drawing was limited, these drawings were too… abstruse.
Seeing Liv’s inability to say anything more, Demus muttered sarcastically.
“I know it sucks. I am working on figuring out why.”
Do you have to go through all that trouble to figure out why? Aren’t you just not talented? Have you lived so well that you don’t understand the concept of “not being talented”?
Liv swallowed back the words she couldn’t bring herself to say, smiled awkwardly, and put the papers down.
Even though she couldn’t believe that these were her portraits, it was still nice to know that Demus was so passionate about her that he would do something so out of character. She even found it endearing that he was seriously trying to figure out why he couldn’t draw.
“Why don’t you just get a good painter to do it?”
“No one will be allowed to do your nude painting again, ever, except me.”
Liv eventually let out a small laugh at Demus’ adamant words. With the way she thought Demus, who still couldn’t let go of nude paintings, was cute, Liv believed she was quite ill herself.
“Do you mind if I join you in this class?”
“What?”
“There’s a painting I’d like to have, and now that you mention it, I think I’d rather do it myself than leave it in someone else’s hands.”
A light flashed within the man’s eyes. He must have realized the painting she was referring to. Still, he stared intently at Liv as if asking her to explain more precisely just like how he often demanded Liv to correct her indirect words into a straightforward statement.
“You’ll be my model, won’t you?”
“… If it’s you, I’ll let you do my nude painting.”
It was a permission, but it was more like a demand. Demus, unable to stand the newfound heat, stood up and began to tease Liv.
Eventually she forgot about her hunger and they had sex again, leaving the food the hired hands had brought cold, but of course none of them cared.
