As the morning dawned, the rain that had been falling heavily last night disappeared as though it never even existed. The bright morning sun spread warmth and shone gently on the wet earth.

The remnants of the rain were absorbed completely into the ground.

The sun cast a delicate light from the sky as if announcing the beginning of winter. While it cannot be said that the weather was clear, it was good enough to send Lady Exia on her way back home.

Forming a small travelling group, Lady Exia was accompanied by the escorts she came with and several knights from Lukrov’s castle.

Nadal came to deliver the message to Chizuru and Lukrov who were still in the bedroom. 

He had entered just as Chizuru was helping Lukrov get dressed. The young Nadal immediately blushed when he saw the intimate atmosphere between the lovers.

Lukrov glanced back at Chizuru, who was adjusting the belt behind him, and silently asked what she wanted to do about this request.

Chizuru hesitated for a moment.

Nadal laughed aloud at Chizuru’s words.

“Lukrov-sama, please marry Chizuru as soon as possible! If such a person becomes the mistress of this castle, I will work ten times harder than I do now.”

“I know.”

Lukrov replied. Then, with a passionate look toward Chizuru, he added, “Immediately.”

Chizuru’s cheeks flushed red from the determination in his eyes.

How long would it take for Chizuru to get used to Lukrov’s straightforward passion? Even though she was originally a modest Japanese person with a modest conception of affection, Lukrov was beautiful enough to appear in foreign magazines! Just staring at him made her lose strength in her knees.
