Counting the Night of the Blazing Flame (3)
The next morningー
Feeling the warmth of a hand on her back, Chizuru gently woke up from her slumber.
“Mhm…”
As she tried to move her body that laid in between the waves of the white sheets, she felt a slight ache and numbness, as if her joints were creaking.
A faint ray of light peeked through the window, indicating that night was about to end as it turned into the early morning.
Chizuru twisted her body once again, wishing to see the face of her beloved knight, who had his hand on her back.
However, Lukrov stopped her movements and said with a gentle voice, “It’s turning red.”
“I keep hurting you…” He whispered in a low voice that sent vibrations through the air.
Chizuru didn’t instantly know what he was talking about and tried to move away.
As if to prevent her from doing so, Lukrov held her waist from behind and gently kissed her back. Chizuru trembled as a shiver went down her spine from the contrasting feeling of Lukrov’s cold lips and the hot breath coming out of them.
Lukrov moved his lips further down her back.
He descended slowly from kissing the center of her back to the end. As he reached the end, Lukrov finally pulled away.
At the same time, memories of last night returned to Chizuru like a flood.
Last night, a little after midnight… Lukrov held her fiercely.
With her back against the stone wall, she was ravished with a passion that seemed to want to swallow her entire existence.
Lukrov continued to pound Chizuru’s insides, making her shudder like a puppet as he thrust deeper and harder. The make-out session lasted a long time, and by the time Lukrov finally reached his orgasm, Chizuru was exhausted.
Every now and then, there were nights like that.
Sometimes, but not always, he sought her out with an unusual force that seemed like punishment to both Chizuru and himself.
Chizuru knew exactly why this happened…..
“I’m sorry, Lukrov.”
As Chizudu murmured, Lukrov suddenly lifted her upper body and turned her around, grasping her shoulders. The body that was lying on its side was now on its back. Lukrov hovered over Chizuru, looking down at her.
“Why are you the one apologizing to me?”
The manly voice of Lukrov became extremely overpowering whenever he turned a bit emotional like this.
“You had a bad dream, didn’t you? It’s all my fault…..”
“It’s not your fault.” Lukrov assured her in a firm tone and continued, “Even if it is, that’s no reason to hurt you. Sometimes I’m afraid I might break you.”
They looked at each other quietly for a while and then gazed deeply into each other’s eyes as if to confirm their feelings. She could see the obvious signs of regret and frustration in his eyes, and she felt her chest tighten, making it difficult to breathe.
It wasn’t that Lukrov wanted to hurt Chizuru.
It was just that sometimes he could only release his raging emotions and the fears of his past loneliness by letting off his wild passions to the point where he could potentially hurt Chizuru.
He was a fierce man, a well-trained warrior, a knight who had once been called the “Knight of the Blazing Flame” and praised as the best knight in the country.
Nevertheless, the number of nights like this has been steadily decreasing over time.
“It’s okay. Don’t make that face.”
Chizuru believed that there was no need to rush. In fact, the usual Lukrov was so kind that it made up for it and was more than enough. Whenever Chizuru spoiled him, he would always grant her wishes, no matter what the cost.
Chizuru smiled at him happily.
“We’ve done a lot of…activities, and I’m getting hungry. I want to eat here with just the two of us. Can you bring us some food to eat?”
Lukrov smiled back. His lips were parted apart in a slightly sarcastic grin as he tried to tease Chizuru.
“You are the only one who can ask for such a thing from the Lord of the Castle. Do you realize that?”
“But will you bring it to me?”
“It can’t be helped.”
Lukrov quickly bent down and dropped a gentle kiss on Chizuru’s cheek. His expression was happy, despite his teasing words.
“If that’s my wife’s wish, I can’t help but grant it. Please wait a little while.”
It was one winter day – exactly one year after they had been married.
