Quick Transmigration: Adonis, Let’s Talk! - Chapter 1
It was pouring outside. The gray curtains were tied together by the owner. The scene outside the window was a bit hazy. Looking through the glass window, everything was just blurry.
The rain droplets slid down the glass, wiggling around and creating a few trails of its own.
The phone by the bedside cabinet rang a few times, but no one picked up.
A hand reached out from under the covers and accurately clutched the phone on the bedside cabinet, tossing it ahead.
The phone didn’t land far from her. After a while, the ringtone stopped.
The person sleeping on the bed suddenly sat up and the blankets slid down her. It revealed her purple silk nightgown and her exposed skin was fair like a pearl that was just pried open from a clam.
Bai Cu knitted her brows and glanced at the person that suddenly appeared midair.
More precisely, it was like a young lady’s system.
After Bai Cu made eye contact with Jiu Fei, the latter shyly lowered her head.
She originally wanted to resolve everything by being cute, but she was too nervous to say anything right now.
Oh my god. This host seems to be very fierce. I’m scared of offending her!
Bai Cu wasn’t innocent nor ignorant. After staying in that place for a few years, she had some general understanding of the place even if she had no experience. For example, looking at the cute and delicate young girl, she knew that she wasn’t a young girl but rather the system.
After a while, Bai Cu calmed down a bit. She rubbed her brows and tried to ask as kindly as she could, “What’s going on?”
The moment she started talking, Jiu Fei wasn’t that scared anymore.
She looked up at her before explaining quickly, “I-I didn’t do this on purpose. I didn’t know why I was bound to you either. I was actually deceived by someone. They said that you can definitely save me if I was bound to you. So I…”
“You got possessed in that moment?” Bai Cu finished her words.
“If you’re going to say it like that…it doesn’t seem wrong either…”
Her voice became softer and softer. Jiu Fei hurriedly continued to explain, “I know you don’t want to be bound to me. I promise that as long as you help me, I’ll help you find your body for sure, and help you revive. How does that sound?”
Revive?
Bai Cu wasn’t moved by the offer.
She had lived long enough. She didn’t need her in the place she lived.
However, the offer of finding her body had struck right into Bai Cu’s heart.
She didn’t care for what she had been through in her past life. But it did seem a bit tragic if she couldn’t even find her corpse after she died.
However, just this offer wasn’t enough to move Bai Cu’s heart.
“Fine, but bring me back however you brought me here. I heard that as systems, you guys would be recycled if you guys aren’t capable enough. If you don’t mind, I can help you be written off in advance.”
Tears quickly brimmed in the young girl’s eyes midair. Her tears were like pearls dropping down invaluably.
She choked, “Then…fine. I’ll send you back. After all, I’m going to be recycled anyway. It’s better than being written off…”
She turned around and her body penetrated through the glass and into the rain.
Bai Cu was speechless.
It seems like this system was pretty smart.
She helplessly waved her back.
Jiu Fei immediately floated in. The sorrowful and disappointed expression on her face was long gone.
Bai Cu had been here for a few years. She knew that she died, but she didn’t. Her soul was still here, and it hasn’t dissipated yet. She didn’t know how long her days would repeat like this. If she could, she’d want to pass time, and save the miserable system while she was at it.
