Anna had been mentally prepared for the demon’s rejection, but she was still disappointed.

She just doesn’t want to be illiterate anymore. Why was it so difficult!

Anna wanted to say a few more pleading words, but seeing the demon’s expression, she quickly lowered her gaze, not daring to say any more.

Anna thought, if this demon hadn’t refused, why would she come to Parrish?
