In the morning career selection game, due to Liang Yan’s epic embarrassment, she failed all the games and was given the profession of “construction site worker,” picked by everyone. The game task was also very simple: moving bricks. 　

On the other hand,  Liu Honglian’s task was  to collect all the wages of the workers under his hand. The youngest idol, Yan Jun, eventually took the CEO’s job. And Qin Yueshi chose to be a gentle and quiet primary school teacher that best suited her image. 　　　

After greeting Liang Yan, Liu Hongliang went on to find the wages for the workers. Liang Yan stared at the small mountain of red bricks for construction in front of her and was in a daze until Xiao Zhuang, a worker arranged by the program team, appeared. 　　　

Liang Yan was moved by her able-bodied co-worker and said, “Zhuang, are you here to help me carry the bricks? Thanks….” 

“No, I’m not.” Xiao Zhuang shook his head, and grabbed from behind the most common wheelbarrow on the construction site. “Here you are, you’re welcome. I can only help you this much.”

The construction site was dusty, and there was a constant piercing noise that irritated people’s eardrums. Liang Yan wore a helmet that was one circle bigger than the size of her head; her thin, little arms put all the bricks into the cart, and then pushed it crookedly to the designated place on the construction site. 　　

Although Liang Yan was a bit sad at the beginning, she immediately got into the swing of things when she started working. And in no time, she mastered the skills of using the wheelbarrow and started pushing it as fast as she could. 

When the program director saw how well Liang Yan was working, his heart became agitated so he reminded her not to just work but to say something. 　　　

So, Liang Yan, while loading bricks on the wheelbarrow, voiced out her thoughts on her work. “Being a construction worker is really difficult, they work really, really hard.” 　

“Every worker… ouch… is an indispensable part of the construction of the city. It is precisely because of their hard work that our life now is comfortable,” Liang Yan went on to say as she piled the bricks on the wheelbarrow and dumped it onto the designated spot. 　　

Liang Yan was so engrossed in her work that she didn’t notice the dumbfounded expressions of the pd and the programmed staff members around her. 

Her helmet was too big on her, and she had to stop and carry the bricks. Liang  Yan looked so dusty after a few trips, but because of her white skin and beautiful features, even if she was dirty, she emitted a vibe like Cinderella who was abused by her stepmother. 　　

The difference was that the Cinderella in the fairy tale who was obediently waiting for the prince to save her wasn’t as capable as Liang Yan… 

The program director was so shocked that he forgot to write the content in the small notebook he carried with him. 　　　　

She was really Lu Lincheng’s… wife? 

Was she the… female star in the entertainment circle who couldn’t support herself? 

She wasn’t Cinderella, Liang Yan was some kind of a devil woman!　　　

The writers and directors went crazy. They had originally written a script, where Liang Yan, a weak woman in the dusty construction site would move bricks, but due to poor physical condition, after two trips of moving bricks, she would fall. Liang Yan would be injured and would start crying. 

Finally, as Liang Yan watched the workers working, trying to survive, was moved by their hard work and kindness. With the help of the workers, she would gain back her confidence. In the sunset, a frail and slim back struggled and gritted her teeth to finish moving the bricks for the day. 

The group prepared a number of bricks that was strictly estimated according to Liang Yan’s physique. Usually, actresses like her lose weight over the years, so she wasn’t used to much labor. The range of the number of bricks was kept within what Liang Yan could accomplish with her efforts. 　　　　

Liang Yan was a little tired of carrying the bricks, so she stopped for a moment and grabbed the thermos to drink some water. Then, she noticed the weird expressions of several staff members.
