“I don’t like scary people. With my dad not around….”

Was it just a misunderstanding that made the maid tell me to avoid him? I don’t think so. That young master must be really rude. If so, I decided it was right to heed the advice and avoid him.

In this way, he proudly entered the blacklist of my life. But then we met on my first day itself.

The next day, I woke up early in the morning. I entered the dining room carefully, apprehensive of a repeat of yesterday’s encounter.

Fortunately, there was no little guy in sight. Well, it made no sense for a kid like Kirsec to wake up so early and eat.

After finishing the meal peacefully, I studied in the morning and had lunch as soon as it was time to eat.

Since that day, I was afraid of encountering Kirsec again, so I started rushing through my meals and reduced walking around.

I didn’t even go out of the building. I would eat dinner early and return to my room. I would walk around within the room or its surroundings for exercise.

I tried to avoid him because I thought he would lose interest if we didn’t meet for a few days.

And like a reward for my efforts, I spent one happy week without seeing a single hair of Kirsec.

My father will be back in a few days, and my relationship with Kirsec will cease for good. Just imagining it made me want to hop up and down.

I had a refreshing morning that day, too. As usual, I washed my face neatly and opened the door to my bedroom to have my early breakfast.

Then I noticed the shadow blocking my way. My heart sank.

I was looking at someone who wasn’t supposed to be here – a little devil in the mask of an angel. I realized that I had underestimated the kid’s tenacity and let my guard down.
