He was thinking about getting up to grab his bag from the compartment above when the next second he felt a soft face mask against his face.

The skin under his palm was delicate and soft —it felt extremely pleasing to the touch. Gu Yunchen paused slightly, let that indescribably pleasant feeling linger for just a while longer, and then, under the puzzled gaze of the young man, nonchalantly moved his finger away.

Mu Cai slept all the way until they reached their destination, where he was shaken awake by Gu Yunchen.

They walked through the VIP passageway together. Gu Yunchen waited until Mu Cai fully regained his senses before he said, as if it were a passing thought, “I think I promised you something before.”

Mu Cai’s eyes were still a bit hazy, and when he heard this sentence he felt his brain pausing altogether. “Huh?”

Gu Yunchen took one look at his innocent expression and knew that he’d forgotten everything. He couldn’t help but grit his teeth as he said, “Before, when we were filming the theme song, I promised that if you could maintain your Class A grade, I’d give you an opportunity to audition for a casting.”

Mu Cai suddenly recalled their promise, and hurriedly responded, “Thank you Brother Gu, but I….”
