I Became the Monster's Bride - Chapter 192
Extra. The Story Beyond. (6)
“If you wish for another name, you can just use that. Since this is just an opinion of mine.”
“I like these names as well. Aiden. Veronica.”
She replied as she put the paper down. Then, the corners of Kergel’s lips twitched as if he was satisfied before he opened his mouth again.
“Then, we can make the final decision based on whether the child is a boy or a girl.”
“Ah…… I don’t think that it’s necessary.”
“……?”
Roelin listened to him and as she spoke with a smile, Kergel gave a puzzled look. She tried to hold back her laughter, but after she had involuntarily laughed out loud, she spoke back to Kergel.
“Aiden, Veronica. I think I will use both.”
“Huh?”
Kergel put on a perplexed expression for a moment. At the same time, Roelin remembered what the girl, no, Veronica had said in her dream and instantly burst into laughter.
< Stupid idiot! >
“……Kergel, you—I think you will have to work quite hard in the future.”
In order to not be called an idiot or a weakling by his own children. Of course, it didn’t mean that the kids should ignore or scold him as well.
They were such good children who had already determined to protect such a father after all.
“……?”
However, Kergel looked even more puzzled than before at Roelin’s words. After seeing him like that, Roelin smiled again before she started talking slowly.
“I think our child, no, our children will be a set of twins.”
“What?”
Kergel’s eyes widened at Roelin’s words. And above them all were the faces of those children whom she had just met in her dream.
She instantly burst out laughing. It was a bright and clear laugh just like a blooming flower bud.
Since she was born as an ominous twin, she had always been imprisoned. Even her own existence was utterly denied.
But her own children would be entirely different. Roelin placed her hand carefully atop of her own belly.
She knew full well that she couldn’t feel any movement yet, but somehow, she felt like they were children holding hands in her belly.
“We, we are blessed twice as much as everyone else, Kergel.”
Roelin raised her gaze again and smiled at Kergel. Only then did he finally understand Roelin’s words and turned his eyes to her stomach.
“I had a dream. I met our children in that dream.”
Roelin watched Kergel’s face glow with joy as she continued her story slowly.
About their lovely children.
About the dream that she had and the children whom she met in it.
……And about the day she would soon meet those children.
As well about the future that the four of them would have together.
And her story went on for quite some time.
Böfon, the innkeeper, did not know that Marco, who had stayed up all night due to the shock, was still staring at her from the floor down below because he had already fallen in love with that particular woman from yesterday.
And despite the fact that it was broad daylight, he still recalled the ‘newlyweds’ who had never left the bedroom at all. Even while not knowing that they were doing it so had caused them repeated despair, envy and admiration with all sorts of wild imaginations in tow.

Kergel and Roelin; their story had eventually come to an end.
However, the rest of the story would still continue in the future.
The fact that Veronica unified the Cesan continent for the first time ever and received great adulation for being the most powerful and courageous Emperor among all the Emperors of the Seroif Empire.
Also, her twin brother, Aiden, who wandered the continent as he revived stories of friendship and love between long-lost and forgotten people as well as the Suin Tribe, had also received veneration as the ‘God-sent Minstrel’, which eventually became a story in the distant future as well.
Nevertheless, it was also a story that would ultimately come some day.

And…
“…Is that the man who is to be my partner?”
Veronica raised one eyebrow as she looked at the picture on the stone wall without even wiping off a single bead of sweat. Then, she crossed her arms and stood crookedly while looking up and down at the picture before opening her mouth once again.
“He’s not to my taste at all.”
“It looks like you’ve only been hanging out with His Majesty.”
A muffled voice came from behind her. Her aide, Cytheon, who looked exactly like Bert, was the owner of the voice. Veronica turned her head and glared at him with her sharp eyes. Then, Cytheon smiled awkwardly with a small laugh. She tilted her head and opened her mouth yet again.
“As I see it again, I don’t get along that really well with His Majesty. His Majesty is rather—than a soft-looking man like that…”
“Huh. At least he must be stronger than me. That’s just like Aiden. No, he looks even more gentle than Aiden himself?”
Veronica glared at Cytheon before returning her gaze to the painting. She then said with a soft ‘hmm’ as she kept on scanning the man in the picture.
Black hair, which had been like hers, was quite nice.
But those green eyes—
Those eyes that seemed to be just nice were definitely not to her liking at all.
“I don’t like it.”
“It is said that His Majesty, the former Emperor, had also received a revelation about his own companion and said the same thing. But what about now? The two of them are still so sweet together…”
“At that time, he had only misunderstood his own partner! And I’m just saying that the guy isn’t to my taste at all?”
Veronica even pointed her finger at the man in the painting as she made excuses to the old servant Heinez, who had just spoken up.
But Heinez just smiled in return. Then, Veronica scratched her head and grumbled.
“Why must the companion’s revelation be done down here in a place where all the seals have already gone anyway? I have complete control over my powers after all.”
“How can we even fathom Cainbert’s own will?”
“It’s all fine! As you’ve said, it doesn’t even have such a grandiose meaning anyway, so I’ll just have to do it my way.”
Veronica turned her body as it was. And murmurs started to be heard amongst the servants.
Most of the voices were worried that she would not fully welcome her companion.
