Only With Your Heart - Only With Your Heart SS31 -END-
Wedding Vows
Limited First Edition SS “Wedding Vows” -Book Special-
Their wedding ceremony was held solemnly on a meadow on a hill overlooking the castle of Lukrov. A priest came to offer a prayer to congratulate the couple in the ancient language. Then the groom and bride took turns to swear their eternal love.
“Until death do us part,” the priest said.
When the priest said the vows, Lukrov – who was to recite them – rephrased.
“Even if death do us part.”
It was well heard by the surrounding guests, by the priests, and of course by Chizuru, which caused a bit of a buzz, but Lukrov didn’t seem to want to reiterate it.
“That’s how I feel.”
Lukrov whispered softly into Chizuru’s ear so that only she could hear his low, masculine voice.
The jet-black eyes that stared at Chizuru and the brave face. The fact that this man loved her so much gave Chizuru a sweet, dreamy satisfaction and an aching tingling sensation.
“Me too.”
When it was her turn to say her vows, Chizuru followed Lukrov’s example and rephrased the same part in the same way. The priest rolled his eyes in amusement, and the guests whistled teasingly.
Then they exchanged a kiss and became man and wife in name and reality.
The kiss was so passionate, so deep, that it once again drew a murmur from the crowd. Lukrov’s hand gripped Chizuru’s nape tightly, and he slipped his fingers into her hair, causing the delicate hairstyle that Arde had tied for her to come undone.
The bride and the guests couldn’t help but smile as the groom lovingly stroked the long black hair that flowed down behind her.
After a long, long kiss, the whole meadow erupted in cheers, and rains of grains and flower petals scattered, turning the solemn wedding into a celebration.
It was a radiant day that they would never forget.
It was full of happiness, and everyone was laughing, even Lukrov.
At one point, without thinking, Chizuru looked up at the clear sky and saw two birds flying above them.
Suddenly, she felt her heart clench with a sad thought: ‘I wish Zain and Edina were here too.’
As Chizuru continued to stare blankly at the sky, Lukrov approached her from behind and asked in a gentle voice, “What’s wrong?”.
“There was a pair of birds flying over us. It was a big white bird, and they were flying close together. It reminded me a little of Zain and Edina. I wondered if they were watching us today.”
She wasn’t sure if it was appropriate to say such a thing on such a special occasion. But it was her honest feeling, and she thought she should tell Lukrov. There was no need to hide anything, the painful past, the times they lost, and everything else that made them what they were today.
Lukrov looked up at the sky with Chizuru.
The pair of birds had already disappeared into the distance, somewhere to the west. The only sound that they could hear was a high-pitched chirp that echoed in the distance; if they didn’t imagine things, it sounded like a blessing to both of them.
“Yeah, I’m sure they’re watching us from somewhere.”
As he whispered to her, Lukrov hugged Chizuru from behind – she was dressed in a pure white bridal gown. He wrapped his hands around her waist and kissed her lightly on the head, still wearing her veil.
“I’ve been dreaming of this day. This day, and our future from this day forward.”
Chizuru looked up at Lukrov over her shoulder.
She had Lukrov.
Her husband.
Chizuru’s cheeks flushed as she gazed into jet-black eyes overflowing with affection. The new relationship between them, which was still new and unfamiliar, had given rise to a ticklish feeling – a mixture of excitement and relief- which was a little different from the past.
“I’m lacking and won’t be a perfect wife, but I’ll do my best……”
When she tried to greet him in a slightly Japanese way, he raised a single eyebrow as if to say that it was out of the question.
“You are perfect just by existing here. At least to me.”
Lukrov spun Chizuru halfway with his arms around her waist, and they faced each other.
“You’re perfectly beautiful, perfectly lovely, and perfectly …… Driving me crazy.”
Lukrov’s lips covered Chizuru’s as she tried to open them to answer something.
“Ahnn”
“And that voice too.”
“Not yet… Everyone is still here.”
“And the way you’re always so embarrassed too.”
“Luk, Lukrov…”
“The way you call my name, the way your lips say my name, everything is perfect, everything. “
“I’ve been looking for you my whole life, Chizuru. If there’s one thing you have to work on, it is having to accept a husband who wants you like crazy on our wedding night.”
“……!”
Even after he finished kissing her, Lukrov didn’t let go of Chizuru’s hands that were wrapped around both of her cheeks.
Lukrov’s eyes were burning with lust. But more than that, they glowed with love. Chizuru gasped and wondered if maybe her own eyes were sparkling like this as well.
Only Lukrov knew the answer.
He smiled evilly and whispered his voice into Chizuru’s ear.
“That’s how it is from now on. Nice to meet you, wife.”

Afterword – Few words from the author~
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this book. I am very happy to finally be able to present the final part of Chizuru and Lukrov’s story in book form! I would like to thank everyone who has supported me in this endeavor. I hope that as many people as possible will be able to enjoy it.
There are many motives for choosing a book, especially a novel, aren’t there? The cover looks nice, I was attracted by the synopsis, I was a fan of the author, It had good reviews, …… Whatever your reason for choosing this book, I am very happy to have had the opportunity to meet you.
Just like the encounters between people, the encounters between people and books are also fated, and sometimes there are encounters with wonderful books that become lifelong memories and food for the soul.
It is my sincere hope that this story will be one of those memorable books for you.
Just as readers have their own motivations for choosing books, so do authors have their own motivations for writing stories. I would like to tell you a little about the reason why I decided to write the story of Chizuru and Lukrov.
It’s been almost ten years since I started publishing my stories on the Internet, and new stories have always come to me from some kind of inspiration.
When I see a great movie, I think, “Oh, I want to write a story like this,” or “I want to make this part a little more interesting. When I read a tragic love story, I wish I could make the characters who end up unhappy happy. Or I listen to music and want to write a story that fits the music. Most of the time, I find myself inspired by such things.
The story of Chizuru and Lukrov, however, did not have such a trigger at all. One day, they suddenly popped up in my mind and said, “We’re here! Why don’t you write a story picturing this moment??”
Ever since that time, there have been many stories in which the Japanese protagonist travels to another world and falls in love and has adventures there. In the new world they were suddenly sent to, they were confused, cried, loved their lovers and friends, and became happy. Such wonderful novels were released and published in all kinds of forms, and it is a popular genre that has not diminished even now.
However, the story of Chizuru and Lukrov that suddenly appeared in my mind was slightly different from those stories. They had already finished those adventures, and they had a passionate love for each other that everyone around them envied, and they had already defeated evil. The two are separated for a long time.
The story of Chizuru and Lukrov is about “rebirth,” as opposed to the more traditional “trip to another world,” which is about “creating” something in a new world.
I wanted it to be a story about the process of regaining love, dreams, and trust that we once thought we lost, healing our wounded hearts, and reviving them again.
How well I was able to express these themes is a mystery even to me. I’m sure there are still many points I haven’t reached yet, but I put my heart and soul into every sentence and made the best effort I could at the time to write it.
I also remember that this was the first work I ever wrote for adults. Because of the nature of the story, Chizuru and Lukrov have already made love in the past. Chizuru is still in love with Lukrov, and for Lukrov, who has a hard time being honest due to his physical and mental scars, the physical contact between them is an outpouring of his crazy love that must be expressed.
So I had to write a hungry hero who rips off the heroine’s dress every time, even though I had only written kissing scenes before. It was a bit of a challenge, but also a fun one.
The story took shape in this way, but first of all since it was a web serial, the presence of readers who gave me feedback and support was a big help. It was a very serious story that was published amid a popular comedic style, and I wasn’t sure how well it would be received. But when I opened the door, I was blessed with more readers than I expected, and I was able to make it this far.
I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported me since the beginning of this project. Of course, a book is not something that takes shape by my power alone. Until this book reached your hands, I was indebted to many people.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the people who helped me from start to finish, including the person in charge of the book, the artist who created the beautiful illustrations throughout the series, and the publisher. I’d like to thank all the bookstores and e-book distribution sites around the country. Thank you very much.
Now, the story of Chizuru and Lukrov has come to an end. From here on, I would be happy if you could imagine their future together in your mind.
To tell the truth, there are more episodes that I would like to write, and I hope to publish them in some form someday.
Last but not least. I would like to put down my pen and express my gratitude to my lovely children, who are growing up healthy and without complaining about Mommy, who is always on the computer, and to my in-laws and my husband, who accept, love, and pamper the bride who came from the farthest east as she is.
May your future be a happy one!
