The elevator door closed slowly with Cen Sen standing in the middle; his eyes were gentle yet frivolous, not sparing Secretary Yu a single look.

The array arrived at the long-idle Chief Executive Officer (CEO) ‘s office on the 68th floor.

The first assistant efficiently placed the temporary nameplate on the door.

The other two assistants coordinated with each other to measure and record the office space so that they could place the table and supplies that Cen Sen preferred to use onto the table.

CEO’s assistant, Zhou Jiaheng, turned on his laptop and connected to the company network to send a pre-drafted notice to the employees.

“After a serious consideration made by the corporation’s upper-level managers, it has been decided that Mr. Cen Sen will be promoted to Junyi Corporation’s CEO from his previous position as the overseas Development Director in Junyi’s Australia subsidiary. All departments: please assist Mr. Cen Sen to the best of your abilities. We hope that Junyi Corporation will enter a new, better phase under Mr. Cen Sen’s guidance.”

The signature at the end of the notice was from the CEO, Cen Yuanchao.

Meanwhile, all the computers within the company’s network sounded with the notification bell of the incoming email simultaneously.

This announcement stirred up the entire company.

“Is Executive Cen’s health that bad already? The new one is only 27 or 28! That’s too young.”

Everyone got off work in the evening, and there was a departmental party within Junyi’s Marketing department.

Usually, everyone would want to enjoy their personal life on Fridays. That was the unsaid consensus they have reached since the very beginning. They would not greet each other and even pretend to be strangers if they met each other on the streets.

Laughter suddenly filled the room, and the mood became much more relaxed.

“Then does he have a girlfriend yet? It will be such a waste if he doesn’t get involved in an office romance.” One of the female employees mocked.

One of the male employees chuckled and quickly interrupted the romantic atmosphere mercilessly, “Girlfriend? He got married a long time ago.”

“Married?”

“Really? How come we never heard about it?”

“Who’s his wife?”

“Marriage at such a young age? It’s unlikely.”

Everyone started to join in with their own thoughts.

The gossip master started to share real information, “His wife is the daughter from Ji’s family.”

“What Ji’s family?”

While she was complaining crazily, she got choked by water due to her talking too fast. And now, she was coughing endlessly while grabbing on to the rock next to the pool.

Gu Kaiyang laughed so hard that her belly started to hurt as she listened to Ji Mingshu’s complaint that lasted for 15 minutes. While she was handing Mingshu the tissue, she also got one for herself to wipe her tears.

“I can’t stay here anymore; I’m done for the day.” The pool’s temperature was precisely 40 degrees and shouldn’t have been hot for her, but Ji Mingshu already felt the suffocation after a short amount of time due to her fiery emotions.

She grabbed a dry towel to wrap around her body, holding onto her hair while walking.
